To continue the theme I sense in the professor's banner mottos:
Ms. Ann Althouse Who do you think you are Ms. Ann Althouse You're never gonna get my love
Now I know all the bloggers I've seen you with I know you broke their hearts one after another now, bit by bit You made 'em cry, many poor bloggers cry When they try to analyze you, they try to nitpick and criticize.
I went to St. Cloud State and wish I would of had more professors like you. I had maybe one professor who openly leaned right. The rest of my professors even in accounting(which I majored in) I couldn't tell.
Denver Art Museum members were notified King Tut exhibit is coming in late June. Today I got tickets for member preview before the show opens to the public. I'm so excited I could wet myself. The museum is 1/2 a block away from where I live.
Third page of the meerkat pop-up is a hawk soaring over a troop of meerkats, distant enough for the meerkats to be blithely unaware of its presence. I made eight versions of a hawk. Uncertain of the arrangement on the page, I was trying to figure out how to best convey the idea. Turns out to be the simplest and smallest of all versions. I don't know how to draw a hawk, but Horus is an important Egyptian hieroglyphic, G-5 in Gardiner's list of hieroglyphics. So that's how I knew how to draw the head. I'm done with the prototypes, but haven't started the page.
I'm having the same problem as EDH. What is really annoying is clicking comments and then having to deal with that Security Information box every time. Also, clicking the refresh button you have to deal with that box again, and you're right back up to the top of the comments.
fls, "What does Ann Althouse want?", is a question that Freud wrestled with all his life. When you can answer that, you may frame your own questions
My own guess is: Meade, a good schuss on a snowy day, and the right lighting at sunset.

Is anyone else experience strange computer behavior lately when visiting Althouse?
The mouse pointer starts vibrating and alternating rapidly with one of those "stand-by/processing" circles as the page loads.
I've noticed the same thing on Instapundit as well.
On more than one computer.
Does it have to do with how the ads load?
Keep in mind that all the players, images, videos, ads, banners, and other nonsense necessary to pay for, or make more colorful, many sites are embedded with content residing on servers requiring a look up. If some of that gingerbread could be eliminated (e.g., linking to the specific bloggingheads URL rather than embedding the player here), I think load time would be cut.
Also, one problem that I'm having (which might be with wordpress rather than blogger) is that I keep getting an "open ID error" when I try to comment, and wind up having to refresh several times to get it to load. (I use the open ID, rather than the google identity, so that I can link to my blog on wordpress).
Used to happen just every now and then, but lately it's more often than not. Anyone know anything about that?
Madison guy - I could tell my professors political leanings because they were obvious liberals outside of business school for the generals I had to take.
It seemed so rare to hear a conservative view on campus.

Ann,

Thank You,
Bill
Early March is the time of year when we all feel like the anxious Magnolia.
Is the Chief Justice taking any flak from the religious right for denying a request to stay D.C.'s same sex marriage law?
Billy, I'm confused by your comment. You wanted to know your professors' political leanings?
wv: bille ; Hence I felt compelled to reply to Billy

EDH, I've not noticed that.
I'm on a MacBook Pro with a slow DSL connection, if that makes a difference. At work I'm on RedHat Dell Linux with a superfast connection.
At the dentist ofice this pm and read the Feb. 2010 issue of Smithsonian Magasine. There is a nice article on Lafayette, Indiana.

Lyssa,
You're correct about clicking on the heading. You can avoid one security box.
@tradguy: Thanks for pointing out that article.
