if a man screams in the city, does anybody hear?

wv: subili, kinda like chili but not

That's how I feel sometimes after listening to the news, reading the blogs.

Aaaaaaahh!!

Also....kick and throw around some tupperware. You can't break it. It doesn't hurt anything. When you are done....it stacks neatly in the cupboard.

Too bad the two guys didn't connect.

These modern men are not enjoying peace of mind. What could they do besides getting drugged up on useless anti-depressants? Hmmm. That was a good way to show the problem suffered by the existentialists out there.

Conflicting edit doesn't always mean your post didn't go in.

I do that whenever i drive thru a tunnel. I swear. It's a great stress reliever but scares the crap of my passengers.

Sofa King म्हणाले...

AJ me too! I also honk wildly.

I'm Full of Soup म्हणाले...

hahaha and the scary part is we do not make this stuff up!

Ice cream
you scream
we all cream
to a void.

Sofa King म्हणाले...

The best screamer is Hank Hill.

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

I think "Channels" is about how the media, TV content in particular, instills an unhealthy level of stress, fear, anxiety in us just below the surface, and that it bleeds into our personalities daily existence.

sofa king, would you perchance know betty jo bialowski?

Lewsar: I knew her as Nancy.

Loved the "Duel" reference, tho Dennis Weaver was best known for his scream in Duel At Diablo.

wv: varhop, virtual carhop

@popville: i hadn't thought about firesign theatre for years and years before i saw sofa kings "honking wildly" reference.

the further adventures of nick danger got a lot of spins at my college domicile (named mudbath, but that's another story). good times.

Amazing how two little words can stick out like that, eh? I can't even use them without mentally hearing Catherwood's voice.

Yet, if Pixar had done this, it would give Prof. Althouse a headache, or something.

If anyone is interested, you can get All 28 minutes of "The Further Adventures Of Nick Danger" in mp3 format from Amazon for 99 cents. ("It's free... Just a dollar.")

Type "Firesign MP3" in The Professor's 'Search Amazon' ad in the right margin. Also, the Don't Crush That Dwarf and I Think We're All Bozos albums can be had for $1.98 each, since their side-long tracks are currently priced at 99 cents apiece!
