I had the same thought as FLS.

My father and one of his former coworkers would get together once or twice a year to play go. Kinda wish I had learned it.

I notice "strip lawprof blogging" wasn't even tested.

Althouse can change that.

Heh, Life. xkcd is indeed awesome. He's getting well-known, isn't he? That's so cool.

By the way, Ann, with xkcd you should link to the page the cartoon is on -- the images always have mouse-hover alt-text jokes. They're usually good, though this one happens not to be.

Some years ago I saw a "strip checkers" set at a yard sale. Didn't buy it. Wife and I were still young and didn't need a game to get nekkid.

Non-existent. One can play speed chess (so as to get to the point quickly) but speed Go?

I play strip Magic: The Gathering all the time. I am surprised it's so rare. I didn't realize there was any other way.

"Sticky wicket." Heh.

EDH - However, this strip: http://xkcd.com/369/ does reference the dangers of dying in a blogging accident. Since the posting of that strip, blogging has become several orders of magnitude more dangerous. (So has haberdashery)

I thought chess players really needed to see this.

Wahrheit, I'm a casual chess player. As such, I'm interested in your link, but it's not working.

Thanks Peter. I reposted and linked here; check out some other chess posts if you like.
