... Palinified.

Happy Birthday Professor Althouse!

This reminds me of "The Kids in The Hall" "I'm crushing your head" skit.

Apparently meaningful to the person bringing together finger and thumb, but funny and silly to the rest of us.

Re Palin in MA: The FOX is already in the henhouse.

"Lameness". Heh.

From the article:

What will Sevugan think of next?

Probably Palin will comment on the race tonight on O'Reilly, when she debuts as FNC contributor. And then whatever she says, will be headlined in an email by this idiot.

Palinise? More like Bushify.

Cheers,
Victoria

The tactic presumes that a mere hint of a Palin association would shame the voters into electing a Democrat over the better candidate. That is bigotry minded foolishness. Are the voters in Massachusetts really that easy to fool?

I don't think she would help, but then it's typical of lefties that they would concentrate on Palin not endorsing or stumping for Brown, but don't say one WORD about the actual President of the United States, Barack Obama, the knight on the white unicorn, not being asked by Coakley to stump for HER.

THAT is the real story here.

The Crack Emcee म्हणाले...

Aah, so that's how it's done.

Coulda fooled me.

The KitH were great weren't they?

This skit involved closing your eye, and "crushing" a person by "putting" their head between your finger and forefinger, like some tourists do with the Eiffel Tower.

P.S.: I miss the chicken lady.

Look at the slugs they've been electing to public office since WWII. They're either that easily conned or so corrupt that they make Chicago voters look like they have integrity. Even the Baaston archdiocese is legendary for its price tag.

The very lack of evidence for my theory suggests it must be true.

Brown's whole vibe is that he doesn't need anyone to ride to his rescue. He'll fight the good fight and take the outcome like a man.

Can anyone tell me if in the history of America, has a city ever had a Republican "machine"?

Because the overwhelming majority have been Democrat.

I always laugh when liberals mention vote-rigging and Republicans. Neither Party is clean, but we have a LONG way to go to catch up with the Dems throughout history.

Henry म्हणाले...

Guys like Sevugan make me want to believe in reincarnation. Let him come back as a slug.

the Democratic National Committee has sent its top spinner, Hari Sevugan

This guy is the "top spinner" and that's the best he can do? He's worthy of the RNC!

Irene म्हणाले...

The name "Hari Sevugan" makes it seem like Sevugan should be a magician.

Brown's whole vibe is that he doesnt want SP's rescue.

I would love to see Palin endorse Coakley - the apoplexy that would follow - priceless

I understand that some rural areas have had them, but you're correct, there has never been anything like the machine politics practiced by the Democrats.

Wince म्हणाले...

I think it's Sevugan who now comes across as the repugnant outsider.

Let him convert the Coakley campaign into a race against Palin. This has the marks of an epic fail.

By the way, where is Obama? You know, he's the president in office who is supposedly working day and night to ensure his health care reform passes.

Obama is now avoiding Massachusetts as hostile territory.

VICTORY!

अनामित म्हणाले...

I wonder if Andy will weigh in on Mrs. Brown's uterine activity soon.

vbspurs म्हणाले...

Thanks, Salamandyr. I thought so!

Chase म्हणाले...

Sevugan is that most despicable of human creatures: the politician of such low moral character that dishonesty and disingenuousness is no longer even second nature, it's become first nature. I'm not certain his own wife can ever believe him.

I seriously volunteer to communicate to his family and children in particular what a distinct piece of human refuse this man actually is.

In fact, I will begin researching him and his family now.

Chase म्हणाले...

Hari Sevugan is 36, not married, (also "neat" and "loves musicals") and was the Communications Director for Chris Dodd's Presidential Campaign in 2008. He has a law degree from Northwestern.

He also has no true friends, because no one can "trust Hari".

Why did they `cover a non-story? Better to let the guy bleat unrecorded.

Mark म्हणाले...

Wouldn't it be funny if the Democrats succeeded in linking Brown to Palin, and it ended up helping Brown?

Interesting times...

Henry म्हणाले...

Maybe they should tie Brown to Reid.

Kirk -- Excellent.

Plenty, before WWII and the rise of the RINOs. Philadelphia had a very well-known one, but there were too many people from the Main Line more interested in remaining gentlemen and being content with the crumbs the Demos would let them have.

Keep in mind that, from the Civil War on, a great many of the Eastern cities everybody thinks of a hard-core Democrat were once Republican bastions. The rise of FDR and the welfare state changed that.

PS Hope you see this.

traditionalguy:

Well yes, they are.

Look at how long they kept Ted Kennedy. They still elect John effin Kerry.

They really ARE that stupid.

mariner म्हणाले...

From time to time, someone denounces big-city political machines, making the mistake of describing them as invariably Democrat. Debaters duly object, pointing to Philadelphia's Republican city machine lasting seventy-five years. It was, indeed, a very tough and corrupt organization. Whether it was Republican, is more debatable. The question might be re-phrased: How is it, with Democrats running every other big-city political machine, Philadelphia alone produced a Republican version?
