"I knew I could count on you!!! You’re my hero!!!! My knight in shining armor!!! My private porn star!!!!!"

Everyone's laughing at the email idiots at Cornell. No one can wring out a drop of sympathy, because the "private porn star" and the woman who types exclamation marks are each married to somebody else.

(Via Instapundit.)

ADDED: Love that sex talk:

Now, get back on that horse.

I knew I could count on you!!!

Women can always count on men wanting to have sex.

Emotional trust and stability? Not so much.

Particularly when the man is cheating on his own wife.

(Oh, but he won't cheat on you - right? You're not her. You're better. He loves you.)

Greg Hlatky म्हणाले...

More proof, as if more proof were needed, that one should never put anything in an e-mail that you wouldn't want the whole world to know about.

Tibore म्हणाले...

HEY! HE PLAGERIZED MY E-MA.... uhhh... I mean: Oh. (*Nervous laugh*). Those morons (*blushes furiously*).

Word Verification: hypian. Someone who overhypes something, normally with an exess of exclamation points and outlandish hyperbole. Oddly topical, yes?

LordSomber म्हणाले...

I picture them as the Cheri Oteri / Chris Kattan kinky married couple. Except they're not married.

अनामित म्हणाले...

E-mail is no good.

Robert Cook म्हणाले...

I blame Obama.

The loose moral philosophy actively encouraged by his far-left socialist/fascist policies requires that his followers engage in sexual relations with masses of people, in order to break down their adherence to the old social order of trust, fidelity, and respect for authority.

I suspect we'll see more people cheating on their spouses. But not among Republicans, who see through Obama's perfidy.

Angst म्हणाले...

Insty is just jealous because this didn't happen at UT ;->

TWM म्हणाले...

Well, you've always wondered what the male equivalent of Tina's "private dancer" was, haven't you?

Unknown म्हणाले...

Oh, come on, Ann!!

You mean to tell me there isn't something in the emails between you and Meade that would make you turn beet red if it ever became public? A pet name...

I'm just glad nobody was taping my phone calls I got 15 years ago

Ann Althouse म्हणाले...

"You mean to tell me there isn't something in the emails between you and Meade that would make you turn beet red if it ever became public?"

Are you kidding? We need to cut and paste it into a book and sell it! The difference is, neither of us was married at the time. And the writing is much better.

ricpic म्हणाले...

Wow, am I out of it. The back and forth between these two is supposed to be sexy? No tender lubrication for these human machines.

Tibore म्हणाले...

Agreed, ricpic. Even though it's not part of the definition, wasn't there a time when "illicit", as applied to relationships, imply subtlety? I mean, those messages are about as subtle as a skyscraper. They read like parodies of flirting, not like the real thing.

I blame Ayn Rand, who made Hank Rearden's cheating on his wife with Dagny Taggart seem an inevitable outcome of Objectivist thought.

And then there was Dagny's cheating on Hank Rearden with John Galt.

I truly enjoyed the perspective on power and taxation in that book, but Rand's ideas about the personal life and the family were just plain bizarre. Or maybe the right word is depraved.

अनामित म्हणाले...

What guy wouldn't want a women to call him her "Knight in Shining Armor." I'll wager he didn't get that at home (conversely, he probably didn't express the same interest in his wife that he did in his mistress).

The key to a happy marriage is to express these feelings to your spouse every once in a while, in between the "You forgot to take out the trash" and "What's for dinner?"

Kirk Parker म्हणाले...

FLS,

Not bad! But I really miss Trooper, who would have supplied some actual dialog... :-)

Tibore म्हणाले...

You know, come to think of it, he's her public porn star now.

Oh, and add the obligatory three to five exclaimation points after that. At your leisure.

Yikes! Didn't I see that guy on http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/?

Ann's quite different reaction to the situation that this couple finds themselves in and that of Carrie Prejean's is quite telling.

My thoughts exactly. Loved the book, but by the end I was mostly thinking "Wow, who else can Dagny bang?" And in an era before The Pill!

Back to the emails: Does any woman really think it's hot to have her lover refer to her lady bits as a "c---"? I thought that word was strictly reserved for female politicians the left hates. And "you'll be full for a week after you swallow me"? Just gross.

Oh? Did Carrie Prejean make that tape for a married man while she herself was married to someone else?

prairie wind म्हणाले...

I'm not clicking the link again to doublecheck, but c** is a three-letter word, not four. His, um, issuance, not her lady bits. And I don't think "lady" fits in the story in any way.

We are all naked on the internet.

Oh, I do hope the traumatized recipients of this email string reach out for the help they need. I would hate for one of them to shoot up the place due to second hand trama of email sex talk. Think of the children.
