I'm not really a Bergman fan, but I was in Fårö bicycling around hoping to "accidentally" stumble upon his recidence on,unbeknown to me, the day his death was announced.
If you are in the area, Gotland and Fårö are definitely worth a visit, even if you aren't a Bergman fan.

No problem. Sell it to a trust for about $5 and let them preserve it. I doubt if the will was structured that there there was no way to do it other than sell, keep the cash and hope the buyer would donate it.

Maybe the Swiss could exile Polanski to Faro. It isn't Paris, for sure.
