Queneau's Anglicisms never fails to amuse me. But I never liked Zazie dans le metro. Cent Mille Milliards de Poemes is also amusing.
So who's the girl who played Zazie. Cute for sure but what an athlete. Fabulous running stride, great balance. Must have been a gymnast or a track star or a dancer.

I watched a couple of Tati flicks on Turner Classics last year while recuperating from a bike accident. They were pretty funny. The guy's early work was a poor man's Harold Lloyd of physical comedy, and I don't mean that as an insult. Harold Lloyd was better than even Chaplin.
Zazie..?? I did watch but I got my "adorable, hypertalented, hyperactive girl" fix in about 10 minutes and couldn't watch it anymore.
The Frenchies have great film talent and stars, but it seems that it is best displayed when it is not an insular "all-French thing".
The cutest girl in film EVER is Kirsten Dunst, because her court case today finally knocked MacKensie Phillips off my Yahoo news feed.
