2 moving pictures from today's Farmers' Market.

2 boys were playing "Like a Rolling Stone" and collecting lots of dollar bills (including 2 from us):

A religious choir was singing as the nearby mindless drummer played:

Hmm video camera? Not like you to post video. Wedding present?

I post video all the time! It's just the video function in my digital camera.

I just usually put it on YouTube. But you can put a video on Flickr if it's 90 seconds or less.

A religious choir should not be allowed to sing in a public square like that unless a huge asteroid is hurtling towards the Earth.

The female choir member's "plain clothes" and caps resembles the Dunkard Brethren who settled in California's central valley. German Anabaptist sects migrated from Pennsylvania and Ohio to the West in large numbers.

Mennonites, for example, settled in many small CA towns on Hwy 99 & I-5. Most Mennonite congregations died out by the 1930's. However, The Dunkard Brethren successfully assimilated into local community life, joining business and service organizations, their children attend public schools; they prosper still. Obviously so do CO Anabaptists.

Technically you are correct.

Let me be more precise. Your typical video is one from You Tube or just you discussing something or you schooling a lib on Bloggingheads.

These two videos are very different from the types I noted above.

No biggie.

Flickr munges the videos to take a lot less file space.

Mindless drummer. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha *breathes* ha ha ha ha ha.

Your video is remarkably stable. I just started using the video function on the D-90 and find it vibrates all over the place, jittery, like the cameraman's got the DTs. I think the camera really needs to be set on something or a tripod. Also, it focuses once and that's it, you're locked into that focus for the duration of the shot, and viewfinder is shut out. It's as if the video function were an afterthought. The good thing about it is you get to use all the lenses available to you.

That young woman in the green top. What is it with today's women letting their bra straps show all the time? Even at work, where it looks very unprofessional.

Two different Moving Pictures and nary a Peart, Lee, or Lifeson to be found...what gives?

Talk about your false advertising...

Bras are part of the look and always have been.

"Your video is remarkably stable."

It's a Sony, with vibration reduction or whatever VR stands for. Also, it's completely small and light. The main problem is remembering not to wave it around or move too quickly.

Here's a video I did last November with a Sony point-and-shoot of another religious choir singing in public. It bounces around too much, but that's mostly my fault for not being steady enough when I walked, not to mention the damned cobblestones.

No funny clothes in my video. Those ladies were dressed so much like the crowd, it was impossible to tell exactly which ones were the choir and which ones were milling around

It's also unclear if the 17.5% VAT got deducted from the contributions of Euro coins you see being dropped in the basket at the end by kids.
