He's describing how his uncle choked some Nazi to death in '44...that kind of talk always goes well with Germans...
That looks like a textbook are you fucking kidding me!!?! face.
He is telling her how she should be sensitive and loving about Iran's Atomic Bomb warheads on the North Korean guided missiles that can land in Berlin 5 minutes after launch. She is not impressed by the peace in our time promise coming from the Commander-in-chief of the military that really is Germany's only defense force, and whose policy is to eliminate those Anti-missile defenses that scare the poor Shia Muslims in Iran's military. Ergo, her mouth hangs open and she says, "Why don't you smell some of that bullshit you're shoveling?"

There's something about the interplay f Obama's "explaining things to a toddler" expression and Merkel's dubiousness that reminds me of Mencken's quote about how every complex problem has a solution which is easy, simple and wrong.

Uh, yes Richard, it does. Look, I despise Obama as much as the next Conservative. I understand that he is a mix of a Used Car Salesman who's lost his Plaid Jacket and a Tent Revival Preacher who has walked into a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous with a crate full of Black Jack. A total Clyde.
But we can agree that Old Man Hindenberg made just a teensy-weensy bit more of a mistake when he appointed the Fuhrer as Chancellor and the entire Kraut Nation ratified the choice later in 1933 in a plebiscite.
That's a tad worse in the course of History than us electing Obama last year. Just a tad.
Okay, maybe in light of the existence of places like Buchenwald and Auschwitz, maybe more than a tad.
