Grilled Spoons Of Mayonnaise... Essence Of Vanilla Mini Roasties... Raisins A La Raisins....
Recipes from the Random Recipe Generator.
Via Neatorama, which I discovered -- though I'd probably noticed it before -- while searching for a perfect image of a rose tattoo to illustrate the first post of the day. I didn't find that rose tattoo, but I did find a photograph of a handless arm tattooed to look like a giant finger:
Do you think that's in bad taste? I like the young man's sense of humor about his misfortune. Presumably, he enjoys pointing.

The things you could find searching for tattoo photos...
of course it's in bad taste - it's a tattoo! Isn't that the point?
Nothing says "lowbrow loser" like a big old honking tattoo.
You know, these kids today, they have lots of tattoos. It's not the self-identifier of trashiness that it used to be.
I have no tattoos. I do find them interesting, though, in roughly the way that I find gay marriage interesting.
P.S. Random Recipe Generator is truly hilarious. The best parts are the instructions.
Nothing is in bad taste anymore. If you think something is in bad taste, you're just provincial. Or a Republican...
Do you think that's in bad taste?
What if is a war injury?
"I have no tattoos. I do find them interesting, though, in roughly the way that I find gay marriage interesting."
What? You don't have a gay marriage? It's 2008. Get with it.
war injury, "statement" of "individually", you name it. Tattoos are always in bad taste. Tattoos are "sophisticated" in precisely the same way as cigarette smoking.
p.s. the only acceptable tattoos are on the biceps of your war veteran grandfather. period.
What about a tattoo of the tattoos on the biceps of my war veteran grandfather? You know, like an homage.
I have no tattoos either.
My skin tone is not a hotly sought after canvas.
I also remember watching calves getting branded back in the farm. it must have made an impression on me ;)
Speaking of the norming of tattoos, I saw a younger guy at my gym the other day with a Yale Bulldogs tattoo on his torso. For some reason, I wanted to punch him violently.
I post this SNL lower back tattoo skit again simply because it shouldn't be missed.
"What about a tattoo of the tattoos on the biceps of my war veteran grandfather? You know, like an homage."
Sorry, not acceptable. Commission a velvet painting of your grandfather instead.
If tattoo personalities are indeed reticent to change, would it be safe to assume that the tattoo community voted for McCain?
I worked in a college pub and sliced the tip of my finger off slicing pastrami. I went off to the hospital for some treatment (not much you can do for a finger tip, since we did not find it).
When I came back, one of the workers not knowing what happened served the pastrami with my finger tip in it (there was also some blood mixed in).
Yum. A little bit of Fred4Pres in every bite of those Rubens.
"...while searching for a perfect image of a rose tattoo to illustrate the first post of the day. I didn't find that rose tattoo"
Heh heh, exactly. Proving my point from the previous thread. :)
Here's some Rose Tattoo, but it's a little different from what you were seeking.
I don't believe he wants to point--I suspect that's a middle finger.
I think I know more women WITH tattoos than without, and most of the women I know are white-collar professionals in their 30s.
Anyway, the finger-arm tattoo is awesome. :)
It's not in bad taste, but I don't find it attractive.
I like the young man's sense of humor about his misfortune.
He'd better hope the joke never gets old since he had it indelibly printed on his body. I say use a marker, not a needle, when you're going for a laugh.
"Of course it's in bad taste-it's a tattoo" "lowbrow loser"? Well i just happened upon this picture randomly, and i will admit, not the most attractive tattoo in the world, but for all you know maybe he thought of it as a way to keep a "finger" being that all his are apparently gone. It could just be a "help to cope" mechanism that drove him to do it, not being a low brow loser. I myself have many visible tattoos, and work in a very elegant, upscale clothing store that i'm sure would refrain from anything "lowbrow" even walking through the doors lol.
Nothing says "lowbrow loser" like concentrated ignorance of a subculture that isn't your particular style, either. :]
