The ancient cell-phone call.

At the Met, the statues are posing like people:

The photographer, Rick Lee, gave me permission to reproduce that image here. Please don't reproduce it without his permission. You can see the full size picture and others on the same theme at the link.

The Met? I would have guessed Caesars Palace.

The statue has a much more open, come hither pose.

The woman on the phone has a severly closed posture with her arm across her body, as if to isolate herself within the large, public room.

Plus, I not sure she exemplifies the type to be completely shaved "down there."

Once the Google crawlers hit your webpage, Mr. Lee's control over the image is gone. People should put a copyright mark on pictures if they want even a hint of control over them down the line.

Well, but he already has it up on his blog, so what difference am I adding?

To me this would be a better picture if the statue were backed up by a whole network of marble nudes with satellite trucks and test equipment and helicopters.

But Venus de Milo does speak well of their hands-free phones.

Is this the guy who went to the Met with the girl who dreamt she went in her Maidenform bra?

BTW... a few seconds before this was taken, the woman was reprimanded by a guard for leaning her elbow on the base of the statue. I think it would have been a better shot if she were still leaning on it.
