"Look, I don't comment on other people's comments. I don't have time, all right. I really don't have time to worry about this."

Condoleezza Rice does not have time to worry about Mike Huckabee, who probably thinks that sounds "arrogant."

First!

Sounds sorta like Hillary's henchmen saying Obama's cocaine use is not an issue.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Only if she had said "Huck's ignorance re foreign policy is not an issue" [and at least thats related to the office he seeks, not Huck's personal life]

Where did she say anything like that?

Sounds also like sound advice to blogsters and blogstresses the world over:>)

Right, Condi was too busy lining up 50 nations against Israel at Annapolis to be bothered with small potatoes like Huckleberry, she had a whole people to destroy!

I believe Condi's dismissal of the Huckster's criticism was equivalent to implying he is an insignificant gnat without actually saying that. Just like the Clinton camp said "no mas" then repeated the rumor.

That's all - my opinion.

Behold, a wondrous sight, photoshops and cartoons, but not all. That's how we imagine her.

I believe her. 100% of fact. She really doesn't have the time for that crap. Commenters were impressed with the incident on video of Code Pink accosting her at the U.N.. She hardly noticed the ruckus and never broke stride.

Why would she? Odds are pretty good he will never be responsible for our state department policy.

Well, I have no answer for that. I still can't figure out wth she is thinking re Israel.

Amen, ricpic. I used to think a lot of the Secretary until she came out with comparisons of Paelstinians to American blacks suffering under Jim Crow.

I think Dr. Rice forgot Rosa Parks just stayed in her seat on the bus. She didn't blow it up.

If the GOP was smart, they would nominate McCain. The establishment favors Romney, but he could not win an election against Clinton or Obama. He could compete against Clinton because of her high unfavorables, but I think Obama would beat him. Oh, it has been fun seeing the Clinton campaign implode, and I think Obama will beat Clinton.

I know, I know, in a colorblind society where merit should hold ultimate sway, OBAMA isn't even qualified to be assistant majority whip. He's missed a 1/3 of his votes during the 2005-2006 session, and he hasn't held a hearing as member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Sadly, America is not a colorblind society where merit holds ultimate sway. It is very sad that American's don't see the racism in voting for an unqualified candidate just because he is Black as a way to prove that America is sorry for its past. Sadly, the media will blast his opponents when they attack him for the following policy positions:

1) Raising taxes on the middle class to fund social security (he wants to lift the cap to 115k)
2) Attempt to make it easier for employers who hire illegal aliens.
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,285436,00.html
3) Indicating in 1996 that he supported a ban on manufacturing handguns.
4) Said the troops who died in Iraq were wasted lives.
5) While pretending he is moderate or independent, votes with the Democratic majority 95% of the time.
6) Does not think we should label the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization despite the fact they kill our troops.

Despite these positions, Romney would not beat him because Romney has already been presented to the public as a world class flip flop. Whether you think thats fair or not, the polls indicate its the truth. In any case, McCain is the only person with a legitimate chance to beat Clinton or Obama. I know the GOP may not agree with him on everything, but when it comes to foreign policy, judges (I'll weigh his votes for Alito and Roberts over his gang of 14 compromise), and entitlements, I'll take him over a Democrat any day. McCain will play well amongst independents in the midwest, and he is popular throughout the Northeast.

Have you seen Survey USA's latest polls? Even in liberal bastions like Massachusetts and New York, McCain does extremely well against Obama. (Deval Patrick is a liability for Obama in Massachussetts)

Please let Condi simply retreat into history, back to academia, back to a life in obscurity, back to a life where compentancy required is on a level with her skill set, back somewhere that doesn't make her give up her ethics and ability to tell the truth as part of her job description. She held court over the most unilateral and arrogant foreign policy in the history of this country.

I don't like HuckFinn much but this woman is out of touch and the reasons the squeals are so loud is that Huck hit home.

No she hasn't. You just haven't been paying attention.
