It's forward thinking of Jesse to count on the medical advances needed for him to run later this century...and frugal to start buying buttons now...too bad his ideas will probably still be the same, though!

Democrats are so desperate for a White House, Chris Matthews is already talking about 2088.

Jesse Jackson plays the piano?

wv: ckoov. Not as dreamy as Davy Jones but better at the helm of the Enterprise.

I once had a wristwatch that had a caricuture of Nixon standing with his arms outstretched saying "I am not a crook". Wonder what it is worth today?

Well, what do you think this button is worth? I wouldn't think much. Not even in mint condition. I used to have a button the size of a saucer that had an image of Nixon that alternated (if you moved it) with an image of Henry Cabot Lodge. Now, that I think would be valuable. I also had a novelty item that was a can of soda that was labeled "Goldwater," and had various sayings connecting Barry Goldwater to the substance in the can. I don't remember what.

Barry Goldwater had the coolest political bumper sticker ever made.

I used to have a little collection of political campaign memorabilia; the best item I owned (which I unfortunately sold when I was in graduate school) was this pin from the McKinley/Hobart campaign of 1896. When you squeezed it, you got the message...

Palladian - that's just the best. LMAO. That appeals to my inner nerd. I'm tempted to recreate it on cafepress or something. :p
