Run, heck. I'm with Michael, I ride to work most days. In contrast to running, it's actually fun. There's also the enhanced people-watching opportunities that come with covering 15 miles each way...
A bad day outside is much better than a good day outside.
(But a really bad day outside is much, much worse).
At first when I saw the Running Hottie I thought I had mistyped and gone to Instapundit instead. But he's much better at screening out male college students from his campus pics.
Ah yes, jogging the Lakeshore path. I started running again in college after a layoff, and I began a several-years running program right there. Started out from the old Lakeshore dorm with Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion" running through my head. Running out to Picnic Point and back is something to be experienced.
My feet would go all Ft. Sumpter on the rest of me, my knees would turn Monitor and Merrimac on each other, and The House That Is Me Could Not Stand Divided, so I would carpetbag to the sofa. No, I'm afraid my running days are Gone With The Wind...but, frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn!

I won't run, because my knees would hate me in the morning.
The only thing I ever run is a tab
I wish I could run my mouth a bit at my boss.
nice picture. something in it for everyone.
i would love to run there but the path looks too narrow for good ambulance parking.
Sounds like a good recommendation - it's very nice out in Southern California.
But not right now, alas. As FDR liked to say at the end of his meetings, "I'm sorry, I have to run."

I won't run, because my knees would hate me right there and then.

I'm also a bike commuter, and it sure does beat running. Except when there's snow on the ground. Then I retreat to the bus.
Ann, the 9/11 thread is frozen -- at least when I try to read it. Give it a nudge.

Just not in winter.
Reminded me of many pleasant runs in my grad student days along that path from the Red Gym out to Picnic Point.
Also of my weakness for redheads with Afros...yum!
My nose is running.
Stupid pollen.
