Ah, the return of The Anti-Sheck. The usual obsession about Ann's seeming self-absorption. And then a mild insult about bat brains. Some things just never change.
Anti-sheck, if you so dislike Ann, why do you keep visiting her site?
Anti-sheck isn't just a troll. He's a troll with a tin ear and no sense of humor. Imagine how thuddingly dull one would have to write so he wouldn't misread things.
As for me, I like seeing the distinguished law professor profess what she distinguishes. Or distinguish her distinguishism. Or squism what she guishes. Or something.
As long as Ann's blog is entertaining, informative, and interactive, count me in.
Okaaaaaay. . . (Though I'm with Peter Hoh (no relation.): I come to be entertained and informed. I'm seldom disappointed.) But why the insistence on insulting your host? Why not enjoy your enormous pleasure quietly or, at least, politely?

Brian: Unfortunately, I didn't have that episode TiVo'd or I would have watched it. I've only seen the show occasionally, to see a celebrity I liked or something. I can't bear the pop psychology things. Not interested her the book clubbing either. But I should watch more questionable programming where the blogging is fun.

Such great new heights in self absorption!
Are bat brains really so far off the mark?

Geez, what's with the troll-per-thread meme today? Speaking of bat testicles, and all.
Some days I'm glad I get only a few commenters, and they're all polite.
Ann, pretty amusing.
I've done some random searches in my time, but who searches for "bat testicles"?
Next time someone searches on those terms, there'll be more fodder.
Mini anti-sheck primer:
Ann, I can insult you six ways til Tuesday. Nyaah nyaah nyaah; I win!
Verif. Word ~wfssx: A muttered invective towards the anti-sheck, likely profanity, but it's hard to tell.
Me: Unfortunately, yes, in that case. Don't take it personally.

See Dick.
See Jane.
See Dick run.
See Jane run.
See ...
Yep, Ann, thuddingly dull would be right.
Then again, anti-Sheck might be able to to misinterpret the meaning ... no, I won't get all gross and suggestive on your blog (well, maybe a little).
Why do I come back???? That's easy!
A variant of schadenfreude.
I happen to get enormous pleasure out of seeing a distinguished law prof exhibit her exhibitionism.
I guess you do, too.
