John blogs a cup of coffee. In Paris.
UPDATE: What am I saying? John Flickr's a cup of coffee, which I then proceed to blog. I've got the whole "coffee blogging" meme on the brain, because the local Madison bloggers keep talking about coffee blogging. It's the thing around here. Not in Paris.
ANOTHER UPDATE: See the comments. Tonya wants recognition for her early, seminal critique of coffee-blogging.

Hey, why no link to me? I started the dialogue about excessive coffee blogging by Oscar and Ocean in my "f**k coffee" post. And, don't forget to Give Tea a Chance.
You just had the Schwimmer one all to yourself...
Isn't this just the blog equivalent of a "process" story?
Oscar: I don't get it. You'll have to explain that one to me.
Ann: Yes, but I feel very strongly about this coffee thing.
Oscar: You're using Nina's photo as your icon... Interestingly self-referential. And what's a "process story"? I Googled that and tried to divine the meaning from the crap that turned up, like this from a review of the movie "Advise and Consent":
The synopsis does much to explain why Advise & Consent has fallen off the radar. A political process story about a cabinet member's Senate confirmation hearings pales in comparison to Slim Pickens riding a bucking nuke into Moscow or fascist Angela Lansbury passionately kissing her son Laurence Harvey as she gives him orders straight from her communist masters.
So, put more nukes, passionate kissing, and communists in your coffee posts, Tonya (and quite complaining after I already updated to add a link to you).
Is my icon more self referential than, say, a picture of oneself? Or is it more interesting?
I was thinking the same thing as Oscar. Most avatars are incredibly flattering photos of the blog author. The bloggers I know take HUNDREDS of photos of themself until they find the absolute best (cutest, sexiest, most young looking, whatever) photo of themself to post. If I were going to post a photo as my avatar, I might even be tempted to hire a professional photographer to do the job.
So, how is Oscar's coffee-laptop-photo-within-a photo more self-referential than what everyone else is doing?
i think coffe, brain and inspiration is connected... plus some cigarette.
it will be good articles on new blog.. Berita Terbaru
