What's for dinner?

Crabcakes and tuna. Cosmopolitans and metropolitans. And lotsa conversation that I cannot relate.

Wait, who are you eating with? Are you and Nina having dinner without me? Jeez, I can't even leave town for a few days without feeling left out of all the fun.

I just love pictures of yummy snooty food that us commoners never get to see. the fish looks delish, and it makes quite a dish. especially when it's meat. or really any kind of food. I love food.

Hi, Tonya. If it's any consolation, we talked about you.

Macstansbury: It was yummy.

Tonya म्हणाले...

Oh, well, as long as you talked about me -- then I guess it was OK that I wasn't there. I'd hate to be so boring and conventional that no one is inclined to gossip about me when I'm not around.

And, I agree, the food looks good.

Crave has a nice "small plates" page to the menu, which saves you from saying fussy things like "I'm just going to have an appetizer." Plenty of hearty things too, like the meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and you can get sandwiches and burgers or pasta or steak. Then there's the full page of mixed drinks that all somehow get called "martinis" these days.

Wow!
Is that awesome looking tuna, or what?
BTW: Great pictures but, I have to ask. Do other patrons wonder why you're photographing the food??
Maybe they think you're with Bon-Appetit of Food & Wine Magazines?

Dax: I never look at the other patrons when I photographing the food. Since my camera doesn't look at all professional, I doubt if they think I'm a professional photographer, and if I were a food critic, I would avoid calling attention to myself. So, I'd guess they think I'm just the usual fool with a digital camera, taking pictures of whatever. Maybe they might stumble across my blog and think: Hey, I saw that lady taking that picture. And here I thought it was pretty pointless.
