I took a walk today on the Military Ridge Trail. There were luscious, juicy flowers:

I was wondering how to figure out what those were. Thanks. Apparently, that plant cures everything. Those things are huge, by the way. Over six feet tall.
Great pics but be very careful before using Angelica that you have a 100% identification as it is not difficult to confuse with Poison Hemlock from the same Family. Yes, the Hemlock (Conium maculatum) of which Socrates was made to quaff a lethal dose.
That hole in the forest probably leads to that island on the show "Lost."
