1. The man in the top photo is Tom Hanks (who, I know you know, played Forrest Gump).@Brewers @tomhanks I prefer the real Forrest Gump https://t.co/nG7wnQeXWb

2. The man in the video is Jacob Misiorowski, the great pitcher, and the manager of the Brewers has called him Forrest Gump.
I knew #2 very well, but #1 was completely unknown to me. Even after I am told that definitely is Tom Hanks, I cannot see Tom Hanks in that man.
Hanks appeared on SNL last night:

Hanks looks like he's been on GLP-1s in the top photo, and almost emaciated. He looks much better in the SNL video. Apparently he has Type 2 diabetes, so maybe that's part of the explanation.
Not sure why all the Hanks hate in that Twitter thread. I don't love him but he's less contemptible than the average Hollywood celeb.
Misiorowski is 6-7. Which made me think of JR Richard the great Astros pitcher who was 6-8. Guess being super tall is an advantage for a pitcher assuming you have enough hand/eye coordination.
Were they trying to make jokes?
It was stupid. SNL is stupid. Who watches that? People should be embarrassed to find that funny.
Kill Toney does way better Trump humor. SNL is just slop for low brow aristocrats who want to chuckle down their noses at the not beautiful people and sniff each other's farts.
Randy Johnson was 6'10". You rarely see a starting pitcher under 6 feet tall, and not too many relievers either.
There's a Japanese star pitcher coming to MLB next year who is 5'8". He's been a starter over there, but scouts seem to think he's destined for the bullpen.
…the strategy seems to be if we make fun of him we’ll win the midterms which is a bad strategy since the cast doesn’t take it well when their side loses…

He's gotten old.
Happens to the best of us.
Once upon a time, public officials spoke in a guarded, circumspect way intended to offend the fewest possible voters, and to project an image of quiet competence. It was difficult to use such people as comic foils, which was what made successful instances of political comedy the product of writerly skill. Trump's uninhibited approach to public performance has altered the comedy dynamic. Now, you can see the jokes coming from a mile away. There's no sudden shift in the frame to generate laughter. It's just New Yorkers reassuring New Yorkers that New Yorkers are the best.
So, QAnon does exist and they're all Brewer fans.
Brewers, schmewers but, geez, Tom Hanks is looking pretty long in the tooth.
I looked at a little bit of it expecting to be disappointed, and I wasn't disappointed.
I thought the picture of the old dude doing the gang signs was the Wisconsin governor.
I can't believe they're going with "he's gay!" and we're supposed to laugh at him.
There are gay Republicans, black Republicans, Jewish Republicans. It's insane how Democrats throw up a Republican and then let all their hatred out. "Trump is a Nazi!" Doesn't work. "Trump is gay!"
Are they trying to scare black people into voting Democrat? "Trump is gay! That's the gay party now. Stay with us, black Democrats! You can trust us. We're the Islamic Jihad, and we mock the Jews and the gays."
Maybe their trying to get the white Nationalist vote? I'm just kind of amazed that the mockery of Trump has shifted from "Trump hates the Jews" to "Trump might be gay."
Trump defends liberal democracy and liberal comedians mock him for maybe being gay and helping the Jews.
I hope he does pick Nicki Minaj. They want to cancel her and make her afraid. "We will wreck your career!" You're not allowed to be an entertainer and vote the way you want to vote. Democrats control the entertainment industry, and they will not hesitate to remind artists of that fact. Absolute shit people.

Yeah. Hard to believe it once made sense to cast that guy opposite Daryl Hannah. Age has come for her too, of course, but she seems to be holding up a lot better.
Gov Evers on SNL? Well the guy needs to promote Crowley, no matter the physical toll.
