I'm seeing articles like "Bill Clinton Accuses Bernie Bros of Sexism." But what are "Bernie Bros"?
So this is precisely what I want to read before ingesting that new NYT piece.
I see that Jake Tapper confronted Bernie: "Have you heard about this phenomenon the Bernie bros, people who support you, and sometimes attack in very crude and sexist ways Clinton supporters?"Meanwhile, Glenn Greenwald said the term "Bernie Bro" was a "cheap,” “false,” “handy, all-purpose pro-Clinton smear” that was being used to "delegitimize all critics of Hillary Clinton by accusing them of, or at least associating them with, sexism."
My post concludes: "Clinton would love you to think that any stepped-up, impassioned attack on her will only reflect badly on you."
Now, let's look at the new piece in the NYT, the one about the rise and fall of Graham Platner:

That's not a clearly stated problem. Is it even a problem?
Mr. Khanna said it was “human nature” for those in ideological agreement with Mr. Platner to have given him “a greater benefit of the doubt.”...
Maybe there's a suggestion of a problem here — some kind of synergy between manhood and ideology that overtakes reason.

(ooo - not by Israel!) by the left - is the Steve Scalise shooting. The congressional baseball outing - where a actual rage-fueled Bernie Bro showed up with a gun and intentions to murder as many GOP as possible.

I was a lifelong centrist. Then I watched Graham Platner's 11 minute monologue about how the party pushed him out just for being a rapist.
I think the more important story here is how the Democrat Party controls its members through blackmail.
We don't like this stuff. Nixon tried to gather damaging information on his political opponents, the media found out and he was finished. Seems like somebody pretty high up in the Democratic Party needs to go down for blackmailing Platner.
The many women of Maine who supported Platner did so because the Emily's List women weren't doing anything to help them, in fact, just the opposite. They were tired of empty promises and ready to try somebody new. For them the fact that the Emily's List women didn't like it was all the more reason to vote Platner.
Would Platner have actually made their lives better? I have my doubts, but I guess now we'll never know for sure. The battle against the entrenched establishment rages on, but has been carried out more successfully in the Republican Party than in the Dem Party.
A few points:

Ro Khanna said: “I made the wrong call, I missed the signs.”. No Ro, you did not “miss the signs”, you ignored them. Your judgement sucks and certainly is a disqualifies you from public office.

Yes, Sanders (and Khanna, Warren, Douche Murphy and the rest of Platner’s supporters) is at fault. Platner was vetted, but his supporters chose to ignore his behavior. To them his big sin was not the rapin’, it was the polling.
Bernie was torpedoed because he had become a professional nuisance to the DNC, having proven to be more charismatic than Hillary, as absurd as that may sound. He was interfering with the anointing.
Platner was the trigger for the DNC's reaction to the DSA's success with multiple candidates. As a candidate, a much lesser figure, obviously, but the stakes are, in some ways, quite a bit higher. Ideological survival for the DNC.
The takeaway is, the DNC cheats always and forever, because they have learned that cheating the system is how they are successful. Few people would agree now, that Platner was a good candidate: Poorly chosen, inadequately prepared, ineptly vetted beforehand. But: Who would agree with the way that he was removed?
That's what they should put on Hillary's grave stone,

DNC answered the quality question and were overruled by the primary. That's democracy.
In a country as large as the US, the DNC will want candidates that have a chance to beat a centrist Republican in Collins. The system has very messy interactions between local activists and the DNC.
I did not think Platner's platform was either persuasive or practical, but I think the locality has a right to their candidate. Even before the latest allegations, the truth is that Platner was always unfit to be a senator. People loved him because he was not establishment no matter how incompetent. Similar to Trump in 2016.
The rape stuff is pretty bad but Platner got what he deserved mostly because he doesn't have a friend who cares enough to wear a Vote for Graham t-shirt and get up there and do a dance routine.

I've never thought of this before, but Hillary's term "Bernie Bros" is clearly sexist, because Bernie has a lot of women who are passionate fans, too, right? Hillary dismisses all of them as non-existent.
It's a very good (and dangerous) political insult, because it's subtly suggesting that the only reason Democrats might not vote for her is because she's a woman.

In 1972 Bernie Sanders wrote an article "Man and Woman" for a short-lived alternative newspaper, The Vermont Freeman. AI explains:

That is one of the theories. But no one knows how polls can change better than a professional politician. Watching clips of the endorsement rescissions, I felt there was some authentic fear of the rapist rep, coming on top of the Nazi tattoo they all had to pretend meant nothing.

That is a characteristic of Democrats. How long did it take them to decide to let Obama run instead of Hillary? And when Hillary got to run against Trump why did she lose? The Russians.

Really, that's what Jill said? So he drove all the way from Illinois to DC and shot Republicans, because 'suicide by cop' was the primary motive on his mind? You know gadfly, I can see the purpose of writing such a report within the interior motives and political constraints of the day, but I really thought you might have more on the ball than that. Explains a lot.
