Boomer-Cons might have been just over half the electorate in Massey's Republican Primary, which had pretty strict rules about who could vote—retired people have time to vote— but Boomer Cons are going to be more like ten percent of the mid-terms electorate. Less in 2028, and a tiny part of the electorate in 2032. Basically Israel has screwed itself, and nuked the MAGA coalition in the process.

A few of the polls had Paxton in the lead by more than 10%, but most of them were still showing his lead in the single digits. Just look at the size of the blowout, Cornyn is projected to win in only 3 counties, one of them with 8 votes total, cast. The other two are Dallas and Austin, two blue cities, and even there, Cornyn's lead is in single digits.

Donetsk is a city and a province, the Donbas (short for Donets Basin) is the area encompassing Donetsk and Luhansk provinces of Ukraine. Only Donbas, not Donetsk, gets a "the". So to summarize the last three months....

Trump launched an attack on Iran, with an unclear objective, no long term plan, insufficient military resources, limited domestic support and negligible international support.

During the conflict, thousands have been been killed in Iran, dozens of US servicemen and women killed/injured, $25bn (although it may cost the US economy up to $1 trillion) spent, a number of aircraft destroyed including an AWACs with a price tag of circa $700m, a massive depletion of the US's critical missile reserves (the resupply of which hinges on Chinese rare earths), and incalculable damage to the US's reputation in the Middle East and the rest of the World.

The result is some people close to the administration have got very rich through tactical insider trading, and a deal that is significantly worse than what Obama negotiated.; 27-05-26 10:27 AM
