The king maker has #NoKinks, but a rather prude attitude. Maybe, baby.
Trump had a lot of help from Cassidy, who is smug, sanctimonious, and playing the game to lose.
Can Israel's big bucks buy america?
Did Elon buy a wisco supreme court justice?
Pray kentucky does not sell us out.
Cassidy went against his own voters, a loser’s strategy.
We don’t trust the incumbents in our own party. Witness the Florida house member lady finding a way to expose the creepy deals the gop tries to hide from their supporters. We don’t trust them. CNN thinks as soon as Trump’s gone the whole disaster for them goes away but gop voters have had enough. You can tell…
That kind of ginned up enthusiasm might be put to better use doing the weather report.
Place your Massie bets on Kalshi.
This is unheard of on the left (CNN) because they don't allow independent thinking or competitive votes. Biden would have received 2% to 10% support in an open 2024 primary. Kamala may have received 25%. There would have been a split between Kamala, Sparkle Ken Newsom, AOC, Bernie, and Hillary diehards.
Culling the RINOs has been the most important activity for leadership to take on since Mitch McConnell became a Senator in 1985. Even Wiki describes McConnell as an 'obstructionist', and that is what that vicious old terrapin has been dealing for at least the past 25 years. Whatever kudos he might of earned on behalf of Republicans has long been liquidated by the negative balance he has salted in by being a royal pain in the *ss.
Did we jump timelines or something? I'm sure that for the past many months, all of the news stories have been about Trump voters' remorse and how unpopular he is. Now, suddenly, his endorsement is golden?
25% is "caught in bed with either a dead girl or a live boy" territory.
@Althouse, why do you care about what we Republicans do? Especially why do you care what CNN of all outfits, has to say about the GOP. Neither of you makes an honest effort to understand our base and our party so you and they should just join the rest of the hard core commie left in getting all dreamy-eyed over Luigi Mangione.

Ann going down on Miriam adelson. Dom/sub
You can play their game but you'll never be one of them, ann. You will drop to your knees and service the tribe. Genetic superiority and all. Jews > Germans, and your mother was weak with men too.
But just because you sell out so cheaply doesn't mean everyone in the country will fall on their k ees and slobber serve...
Its tricky! Some tribes are stronger than others. The jews can only buy so many wi5h their money... tell the truth. Did you ever fuck tom palay after Richard was long gone?
Or maybe not. I doubt Tom's dick ever descended to fuck a goy. Some are more loyal to their own and you are unclean,
You sure settled down the second go around tho. đ
His numbers were also low becuase LA has a closed primary. For some reason, known only to the themselves, R's love "Open Primaries" whereby the Democrats can help liberals and RINOs get nominated.
Fortunately, Cassidy's numbers are so low he wont run 3rd party. Of course LA is different than nothern states. The blacks all vote D no matter what. And a huge percent of white s will vote R no matter what. So, there's no real room for a 3rd Party.
The real test of Trump's power will come with Massie. But even there, its more a matter of AIPAC and Israeli Citizen Miriam Addelson pouring in millions to defeat Massie because he defied them and only supports Israel 98 percent of the time.
That Cassidy got 25 percent shows what a terrible senator he was. He was pompous, sanctimonious, and arrogant. His going against his voters to suppport Trump Impeachment was just one of many betrayals. He was one of Mitch's most loyal followers. But he did so quietly
Ann is st8ll that elementary school girl in the short shorts, Mike.
She likes male attention and cant compete in masculine fields, so she makes crazy divisive games of her own. (im a baad grrl, daddy. Put down your magazine ans see lil bad grrl me?)
All the sloppy shit she spends her days consuming... and critiquing. She doesn't know where the good stuff is and was raised on an American junk food diet... it's all the culture she know, poor American boomer grrl.
Nyt, Colbert, cnn... it's a sick daily diet.
Worst is, she pushes her bad taste here...
Don't click those links, guys.
Your sperm count decreases and you become more like a di5zy bleached blonde upstairs...
I really hate that CNN guy. Every time I see him on a clip, he's over excited, waving his arms and jumping around. Calm down, dude.

I think he would run 3rd party just for spite but Lousiana's general election also requires the winning candidate to get 50%+1 vote, so his running 3rd party won't actually prevent a GOP candidate from winning, only forcing the race to a subsequent run-off.
“That Cassidy got 25 percent shows what a terrible senator he was. He was pompous, sanctimonious, and arrogant.“
Well, he is an MD. You would think that having people of professional expertise in various subjects would be beneficial to Congress but it never seems to be so. Today even congresspeople who were veterans are wack jobs. A consistency is that lawyers predominate, which sounds good in writing laws, but lawyers have a low level of morality, due to the incentives of their profession, they make too much money for winning, they should have been structured to make $200-$300kpy like other high level professionals, not $100 million on class actions.
Is it "the incredible power of Trump's endorsement?" Cassidy disrespected his voters. Voters make rational appropriate response. That is the story, and hardly worth spilling ink or airtime over.
I love how when lefties describe turncoats such as Cassidy it becomes "he criticized Trump" when in fact he voted to remove the man from office, which is NOT just speech and disagreement.
Cassidy's face is absolutely outstanding in it's repugnance, I'll give him that.
Is it "the incredible power of Trump's endorsement?"
Yup no but that’s what counts as ‘analysis’ these days…
AIPAC, the US-Israeli campaign group, and the Republican Jewish Coalition’s Super Pacs are spending combined about $9mn on ads in the race, according to AdImpact.
Israel cares deeply about the wellbeing of KY voters.
Massie has argued the war against Iran is fundamentally against US interests, will further destabilize the region, prove morally and financially costly, and “radicalize new generations of terrorists”.’
A sensible politician with sound policies at the heart of his politics…
How refreshing!
No comments here about Nancy Pelosi having such a tight grip on the Democrat Congresscritters tgst she could force Blue Dog Democrat’s to vote for measures (e.g., the wildly misnamed “Affordable Care Act”) tgst she and they knew would cost them re-election?
The instability that Israel and the US has caused for the rest of the world—both from a security and financial perspective—is simply not being reported enough. All this started on February, 28 and now it's May 19 (eleven weeks have passed). The world's number one war machine didn't realize this was how it was going to play out? We're not talking about Epstein, I guess.
Eric Daugherty is overstating the case.
Cassidy outed high self as a Democrat who's running as a Republican. That's what killed him.
But yes, it's a very impressive victory for the good guys here
Oh look, the Jew hating losers are out in force for Essie. Going to be so much fun watching him crater tonight.
And Cassidy can't run 3rd Party because LA has a solid sore loser law that keeps him from doing so
20% of people who voted for Trump no longer identify as Republican, so his approval is getting more selective. Trump has turned on his own coalition on behalf of a foreign country that spends a lot of money on US elections. So now he’s head of a smaller coalition of boomers who put Israel and its plan for a thousand year reich over the interests of Americans.
He might win this with the millions in AIPAC money based on the rules for voting in this primary, it all depends on who turns out, people who love $5 gas or people who think the war is stupid.
“I love how when lefties describe turncoats such as Cassidy it becomes "he criticized Trump" when in fact he voted to remove the man from office, which is NOT just speech and disagreement.“
He voted to impeach when Trump was already out of office, which makes his vote even more idiotic. He did this likely knowing full well the election outcome was broken and the J6 riot had merit. He did not think Trump would ever be back to punish him electorally, along with many others, of course.
Cassidy and Massie both think they fart pure silk. That their vaunted principles seem to track with the Left is part of the equation. The old American Spectator columnist Tom Bethell used to call this phenomenon Strange New Respect and John McCain was completely addicted to it. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Bobert have been vying for this as well, as have Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson and others. There's always a market for Brutuses from CNN, WaPo and other repositories of received wisdom.
there's no comparison between Massie and Cassidy. Cassidy was a democrat who pretended to be a Republican to get into office. He was arrogant and hated by his own Republican voters. He was a total Globalist and Israel firster.
Massie is your standard run of the mill Republican who disagreed with trump on israel. Massie supports America First. His opponent is Israel first. That's the difference.
" A consistency is that lawyers predominate, which sounds good in writing laws"
Lawyers make ok servants but terrible masters. I have many many experiences developing term sheets for small company investment deals. INEVITABLY, when we put them through legal review, the lawyers would make changes altering business fundamentals already agreed to. It was always a battle to get them to do the work to make our specific intent legally airtight. They much preferred to copy and paste chunks from other deals, regardless if they served our purpose. And these were experienced, "skilled" (and expensive) investment and IP attorneys from top Silicon Valley firms.
"Well, he is an MD. You would think that having people of professional expertise in various subjects would be beneficial to Congress but it never seems to be so."
Yeah, right, because doctors have shown themselves to be such outstanding politicians and absolute paragons of virtue, honesty, and impeccable integrity. Right, Dr. Rand Paul? What say you, Dr. Fauci? And let's hear from the medical professionals who refused to treat the cops and ICE agents injured by antifa Democrat Party terrorists, we need to hear you make your opinions known here. How about the rest of the medical profession, the ones who wished death upon Americans who wisely refused the experimental unknown serum? Any of you nurses who advocated for injecting air bubbles into the veins of Trump supporters and killing MAGA wanna help us out here?
At this point, Shakespeare's admonition about lawyers can be reasonably applied to any Democrat Party members in the medical field.

His opponent is a retired Navy SEAL. His opponent is more America first than you are in every way.
You equate America first with jew hatred. This makes you say stupid things.
The really odd thing about Trump's approval numbers is the fact that many Republicans have decidedly mixed feelings about the guy on a personal level, we just like what he actually does. That's impressive.
Like Liz Cheney, Cassidy fed the Democrat propaganda machine. Republican primary voters understand the danger posed by Democrats to the Republic. CNN stupidly assumes they need to be told by Trump.

Yep. For all his flaws - an inability to shut his mouth when he should listen instead of talking, alley-cat personal morals, comically inapt braggadocio, and more - he's the first politician who's actually done anything but flap his gums to enlarge the sphere of our freedoms. Even Reagan never made such a head-on attack against the globalists and Deep Staters who want to turn the whole planet into a Potemkin democracy managed by unelected bureaucrats.
All eyes on the Massie revenge tour at the polls. The excitement mounts ,will he or wont successful in his revenge tour,so far 1 for 2 Cassidy gone. Got to love the show, sure males pole races more interesting as nothing matters except does he win or lose his tour! Its 54-48 trump ahead so far! Send it in..
Judging from the snippet, Harry Enten may be the Trump figure Democrats are looking for. How are his tweets? Are there enough capital letters?

He's gay.
Althouse has correctly focused on the point that Trump has endorsement power because Trump voters are still behind the President. And we support him more strongly than Obama was supported by his voters at this point in his second term. Moreover, I'd say that Spencer Pratt's wild card race is assisting Trump. Everyone is reminded of just how ugly the Dems really are as a party. They are running that city into the ground as if they were a pack of wolves chasing a deer and tearing off juicy bits from the exhausted, desperate animal for themselves to devour while they still continue the chase.
Trump just endorsed Paxton over Cornyn in Texas. Hopefully, he will sway enough voters to get rid of that RINO.
Trump dominates the primaries. Will his nominees tank in the general? I don't think he cares. As long as the Dems don't garner a supermajority, he can still rule by executive order Fiat.
95% success rate? Has anyone ever done that well, ever?
Our government is in critical need of many more such rejections of swamp creatures. Unfortunately, the left's replacements on the Dem side are worse than their swampers.
Maybe they can't help it.

Seems little difference from most politicians.

Obama had an almost perfect failure rate going for most of his tenure…
"His going against his voters to suppport Trump Impeachment was just one of many betrayals."
I guess voting your conscience and what's best for the country and upholding the Constitution would be a betrayal to blind partisans.
Bb face… the entire premise for the impeachment went against the rule of law, basic human decency, and the US constitution.
the phony phone call with Vandeman on the line regarding asking about Joe Biden’s obvious corruption is not against the law. But the Democrat party is so vile, so treacherous that they will make up any lie to stop actual democracy from occurring
VINDMAN.
BB face, you’re corrupt party known as the modern Democrat party the party you worship blindly is 100% corrupt. They lie they cheat they scam. Everything they accuse others of doing they do themselves.
"I guess voting your conscience and what's best for the country and upholding the Constitution"
Trump was not even in office during the second shampeachment. The Supreme Court refused to legitimize the debacle by presiding as the Constitution requires. The unlawful congressional conspiracy against the former President was in complete contravention of the USA Constitution, and it certainly was not in the best interests of the country.
"Obama had an almost perfect failure rate going for most of his tenure…"
Same for his basketball skills.
Maybe I’m misremembering previous Republican administrations. But as I recall Republicans (and Democrats) were always reluctant to “spend their political capital.” What good is political capital if you don’t spend it. Trump spends his freely.
1. Capital is finite, wrong moves waste it, spend it carefully.
2. Capital behaves like a muscle. The more it’s used, the stronger it gets. Win or lose confrontation is strength
"an inability to shut his mouth when he should listen instead of talking, alley-cat personal morals, comically inapt braggadocio, and more"
JFC... By now I expect Trump voters to have a little more going on than to vomit 10 year-old braindead libtard invective that is the exact opposite of the real man and how he's behaved in office. "Alley cat morals"? Go ahead and cite some examples.
"talking when he should be listening"? Who should President Trump be listening to that he isn't? What sage wisdom is he discounting. Would love to hear which philosopher kings in government that Trump is not respecting enough.
"comically inapt braggadocio"? Thanks for presenting the Euroweenie/Democrat Party Trump strawman pinata... He's such a buffoon- The whole World is laughing at us- Trump is a clown- ...Hey, at least you didn't call him Hitler or say that he sits on the floor and watches the Gorilla Channel, so you got that going for ya.
"When in fact you go against President Trump, you go in the grinder,"
which Thomas Massie will suffer in about 3 hours. It's 330pm right now; KY polls close at 600pm.
@gspencer: You think so? I hope so. Massie, for reasonsI don’t understand, has been a disappointment. Is it ego? Smarter (he thinks) than Trump he has to play second fiddle?

Well, it was a vote to sabotage the US Constitution, and if his "conscience" had him siding with the Democrats in political bullshit, then yes, he clearly needed to go.
In any event: it's not "voting your conscience" if your'e demanding to not be punished by the voters for doing it, then it's just being a performative asshole
What would have been the noble thing to do [if he was idiotic enough to believe the premise of the impeachment] was to abstain and immediately resign. He didn't do that. He seems to have believed that he is entitled to hold the office while taking positions to which his constituents are strongly opposed. He was wrong.
Obama had an almost perfect failure rate going for most of his tenure…
Yeah. Ace referred to him as the Shit Midas.
Cajun Mitt Romney
I like this:
“Congressmen and senators aren’t simply judged by how much pork they can peddle. Not anymore — that’s as out-of-fashion as parachute pants, Wham! records, and the mullet. Instead, they’re judged by how effectively they help their “team” advance the national football.”
Looks like Massie will lose - according to the polls.
95%. I guess Trump has better than average political instincts. I'm beginning to think there will not be a Blue Wave as America's party of malcontents hope and wish. Cue up a race riot as a hot topic at a Kamala Harris "no bad ideas" forum. Tell me again, what do Democrats do that makes America "better"? Actual, verifiably better?
