It looks like in addition to FBI and other Federal investigations there was a good bit of online operation by citizens in support of ICE that exposed and rolled up the Signal chats being used by anti-ICE insurrectionists and the funding groups behind them (some of them non-US). While not proven, there is credible evidence one of the anti-ICE operators is Minnesota Lt Gov Peggy Flanagan.
Just bad timing. Most of the country locked in due to the weather. While checking on weather updates, the media is fixated on showing them the ICE shooting and the ICE lying contradicting response.
Now, team Trump is in damage control mode. Doesn’t look good.

Republicans cannot win in a landscape where the media is invested. We can win in small arenas where there isn’t much national interest. But the big issues of our time? Nope. The MSM, weak and failing, still controls the fear gene of Republican politicians. They are literally — LITERALLY — terrified of the Left. The only way Rs win is when the people vote. But even Nixon, with the greatest landslide win in history, could not survive the media’s insurgency.
Again - We need to restore confidence. the mobsters that control MN need to be indicted.
