Is it possible they'll commit to this love for freedom of speech with such intensity that they will forsake its rivals? It's unlikely, but I'll be delighted to give them credit... or even a vote.
Now, lets check in with Roseanne Barr again:

Roseanne had high rating.
Kimmel has low ratings.

Kimmel lied in the face of his party's assassination-speech industrial complex.
Let them make many strong and loud professions of love, because I want a lot of material to throw in their face when — if? — they get back to subordinating freedom of speech below endless other more important matters.
No.
They are not honest people and they have made their choice. They are still celebrating Kirk's murder.
I would rather live with people who disagree with me than people I agree with and want to kill people they disagree with.

Remember when the government had a real, live, federally funded office of disinformation?
We can always use more people everywhere and always who will advocate for free speech.
"Let them make many strong and loud professions of love, because I want a lot of material to throw in their face when — if? — they get back to subordinating freedom of speech below endless other more important matters."
Showing them hasn't mattered before, it doesn't matter now, and it won't matter in the future. They know they're hypocrites. Their leadership knows they're being intellectually dishonest.
They. Do. Not. Care.
Yes we do, Milo, and it's one reason why we laugh like hyenas when they sputter about "what if we had power and went after you?"
Achilles - you know damn well she went off on Valarie Jarett.
It was stupid -imo (unnecessary) and it got her fired.
Roseanne got cocky.
Again - ABC can fire anyone for stepping outside the bounds of what and who they want representing them.
Remember what happened to Alex Jones?
I think the Kirk family needs to sue ABC and Disney and it would seem he is due a couple billion dollars.
I think the harder challenge would be identifying a "right wing" media outlet or personality that the Left (including CNN's Tater) has not tried to deplatform and silence vs the other way round.
What gets me is they seem to have forgotten the old FCC Fairness Doctrine. Democrats wielded that like a club back in the day.
Man, Obama is getting massively dragged on X.
Her "stupid tweet" was that she thought of a joke that would have been very funny in a cultural vacuum, but touched the third rail of racial politics. Maybe since she is not a racist herself, she wasn't tuned into these things, which is, I guess, the definition of "insensitive." Anyway, it had to do with Valerie Jarret.
The broad debate among the Right is: Should we behave as if the Left will someday return to power, and will use against us whatever tactics we're now using against them?....OR
Should we be ruthless, for they have and will use any tactic against us that serves their interest, regardless of how be behave now?
It's a good debate. Do we care about ideological consistency and hypocrisy? Does caring aid the Left's relentless and mostly successful effort to transform society?
Does ANYTHING the Trump movement does today affect how the Left will treat us tomorrow?

Rosanne said something stupid. Kimmel lied in the face of his party's assassination-speech industrial complex.
Moreover, Kimmel used his employer ABC's borrowed broadcast spectrum to spread his lies about a murdered citizen; Roseanne used private social media to mock a powerful government official.
Barr aside, there's another important distinction: Kimmel lost his ABC broadcast platform, but has the full panoply of secondary social media and publishing options open to him.
Whereas the Biden administration used its state power to put pressure on those secondary, private media to completely censor and defund people in violation of the 1st Amendment.
@CJinPA:
They were respectfully disagreed with. They laughed.
They were scolded. They laughed.
They were shown their hypocrisy. They laughed.
They were mocked. They abused state power to shut it down.
They were debated. They beat up and shot the opposition.
They were warned...repeatedly. They doubled-down.
They were threatened. They attacked.
They're being fired. They cry out in pain as they continue to strike.
The opportunity for amicable solutions is past. They had oh so many. Power is their goal, not a means to an end. Getting it again only means they all become amnesiacs again. More than one citizen has died not from an assassin alone, but a monstrous network of assassins worldwide.
Not only will they not apologize, but millions will not accept their apology at this point.

Calling the modern left hypocrites assumes they care about truth. They don't care about truth or even reality. They only care about the power and control.
Obama's fatal flaw has always been his pride and ego. He pontificated about changing the world as an academic and inexperienced Senator. Then, Sarah Palin filleted his Hollywood stage set, and he got to DC. He walked into a 'friendly' coven of Deep State sausage makers, and he went along with it because they surely fed his ego Homer-Simpson-in-Hell-with-endless-doughnuts style.
I'm guessing he was told daily: "You're the first black President. Let's make sure you are remembered well for all time. Let's make lots of marks in the history books."
Then, he dissed Trump pre-45 "At least I was President."
Ego is his Achilles heel.

You may not be concerned with the declaration of war that was secretly made upon you, but it is most definitely concerned with you. Remember...they've thought we're evil much much longer than we've though the same about them. They transitioned to justifying and approving your death long before Kirk was shot.
My definition of "legally" is allowing them to fire the first shot, after which everything that happens is perfectly "legal". Perhaps they just did. “No, Barack Obama did not have Roseanne Barr fired. The decision was made by ABC executives in 2018 in response to a racist tweet that Barr posted about Valerie Jarrett, a Black woman and former senior adviser to Obama.
Here is a breakdown of the key facts:
Barr's racist tweet: In May 2018, Barr posted a tweet stating that "if muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj," referring to Jarrett.
ABC's immediate cancellation: ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey issued a statement calling Barr's comments "abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values" and announced the cancellation of the Roseanne reboot.
Disney CEO's involvement: Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney (which owns ABC), tweeted his full support for the decision and personally apologized to Valerie Jarrett.
Barr's unfounded claims: Barr has since repeated a baseless claim that the Obamas pressured Disney/ABC to fire her. However, no evidence, such as emails or call logs, has ever surfaced to support this conspiracy theory.”

I didn’t know exactly what form it would take, because Charlie Kirk was such a strong supporter of Israel. But where there’s a Jew-hating will, there’s a Jew-hating way that the narrative can be shaped."

Obama absolutely supported Rosanne getting fired because he is a totalitarian hack who constantly promoted violence against he people he disagreed with.
You are just a terrible person nobody wants in the town hall anymore. Your only purpose here is to lie and to remind everyone just how awful the people celebrating Kirk's death are.
The hypocrisy of the Left is so great even South Park can’t keep up.

Correlation does not prove causality. Trump did nothing to get Barr fired. The Obamas, though not in the White House anymore, did contact ABC to get her fired.
AI Overview
“Former President Donald Trump did not attempt to force ABC to rehire Roseanne Barr. However, after the network canceled her show in 2018 over a racist tweet, Trump weighed in publicly to condemn what he perceived as a double standard.
Here is a timeline of events:
March 2018: The Roseanne reboot, featuring the main character as a Trump supporter, premiered to high ratings on ABC. At the time, Trump called Barr to congratulate her on the show's success.
May 29, 2018: Barr posted a racist tweet about Valerie Jarrett, a former senior adviser to President Barack Obama. ABC swiftly announced the show's cancellation.
May 30, 2018: In a series of tweets, Trump responded to the cancellation but did not defend or condemn Barr's tweet directly. Instead, he criticized Disney CEO Bob Iger for calling Jarrett to apologize but not calling him to apologize for "HORRIBLE statements" made about him on ABC.
Trump's focus: Trump's public comments focused on his own grievances with the network and its coverage of him, rather than on the specifics of Barr's firing. The situation became a vehicle for him to express his long-standing complaints about perceived bias from the media.”
Liberals say that Trump's assault on free speech is a clear threat to our democracy. They're wrong—it's a clear threat to our republic.

"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. True terror – real terror - will arrive at these people's door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy...but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the men who just wanted to be left alone."

Media people have been cancelled for 50 years. Remember Howard Cosell, Tim Conway, Smothers Brothers, Pee Wee Herman, Howard Stern, Scott Adams, many news columnists.
Aleged sex, race, politics statements are often not allowed by corporate media if it hurts the brand. You have free speech but you don’t have the right to force the media to echo your speech. The current word about Kimmel was that ABC thought he was going to torch management on tv, it is their right to prevent that on their own network. I am not required to pay someone to hate talk me if in my judgement that is what is going to happen.
First - I cannot careless about the feelings of one Valerie Jarrett(D) she is just another foul and evil democratic swamp creature.
Also - Rosanne can say anything she wants on her Twitter account. Now X and that is still True.
At the time she said what she said - she was embarking on a renewed version of the her show on ABC.
She could have realized that her cocky strange outburst would be met with what it was met with - but she said it anyway.
I'm not against her saying dopey stuff... and it was dopey - but she was representing ABC at that particular time.
"care less"
btw - Roseanne's dopey twitter stuff does not hold a candle to anything that comes out of the vile evil murderous assassination cult that is the modern day Corrupt Democratic Party.
I was never a huge fan of Roseann's raunchy acidic rants, but I gotta admit, it's good to see she can still whet the edge of her sharp tongue on worthy targets and show us a little skillful carving.
"I want a lot of material to throw in their face when — if? — they get back to subordinating freedom of speech" But so what? What difference, at this point, does it make? When progs can lord it over others, they will; when they can't, they'll whine. Their appeal to principle is always phony. For a while, the right took principle seriously. But the real fallout of left cynicism is that the right gives up on principle too. If power is all that matters, power is all that matters.
Inag's focus - Trump Trump Trump - never ever her own vile party.
Aggie - Indeed. I do appreciate Roseanne 2.0 right now.
Roseann gave up millions of dollars in order to keep the cast and crew employed.
Then, some in the cast back-stabbed her.
"Barr had agreed in principle to walk away from the characters she helped create in order to allow the cast and crew to pursue a spinoff. But since Barr would be entitled to substantial fees and backend on a Roseanne spinoff, the actress had to waive those rights before a new take could move forward."
The Lefty position will morph over to:
It's different because the FCC was "threatening" them. When we did it, it was the people and sponsors boycotting and showing our social disapproval. This is government authoritarianism....
Of course that really misconstrues what Carr said/did and utterly ignores all the evidence to the contrary from the Obama and Biden administrations (threats against twitter/facebook/google, etc.; the "disinformation department" and its czar; etc.)
Car shouldn't have said what he said (especially if we want to be 1st Am purists/expect purity in positions - although NOBODY can live up to that), but his statement was also "speech" and if it was a threat at all, it was one of the tamest threats I've heard in a long time.
The Twitter files made clear (what we already knew) that Biden's people were screaming and cursing at Twitter/Facebook etc. people demanding they take things down/deplatform/de-monetize "or else"... Nice internet company you got there, would be a shame if anything happened to it ... Much harsher of a "threat" than Carr's comment.

Here is a dishonest piece of shit who supported Trump being removed from twitter and facebook in 2020 but now pretending he supports free speech.
What Americans are realizing is that the First Amendment protections cannot be given to people like you who just want to take it away from us at the first opportunity.
The First Amendment is a contract at it is only going to work if everyone signs it and fulfills their obligations.
People like this muppet do not belong in our social contract. They are dishonest and do not hold the same principles we do. They only use the 1st amendment as a weapon. They do not actually support the principle.
I’m still deciding whether FCC chsirman Brendan Carr’s statements, followed so quickly by Kimmel’s “indefinite” suspension, were a mistake by Carr or were a subtle favor to ABC management, giving them something to hide behind so they don’t have to absorb the brunt of lefty extremist pushback against Kimmel being canceled.
Carr comes across as a loose cannon, but at times Trump is a lot more subtle than his drooling, slobbering detractors imagine.
In a testament to all that has happened in a year, I had forgotten about this:
"The New York Post first reported that the FCC last week "adopted an order to approve Soros’ purchase of more than 200 radio stations in 40 markets just weeks before the presidential election," potentially allowing the far-left kingmaker to reach more than 165 million Americans at a critical time."

1st Amendment Purity is only possible if you combine Rights with Responsibilities. Freedom is not possible without obligation.
People who use the First Amendment to lie and attack while simultaneously taking that freedom from others are in the same category as people who yell FIRE in a crowded theater.

What's more, you've offered not a "chinchilla of evidence", as AOC might put it, that the Republican party has decided to end all press freedoms in America.
Myself, I think the FCC commissioner's comments are out of line; we're already seeing pushback from conservatives such as Clay Travis and Kat Timpf , who argue the "free markets" argument is much more coherent than a fuzzy "public interest" controlling free speech on FCC-licensed TV networks.
Carr reminded them of their contractual obligations to publish over the public airwaves. The predicate was affirmative action taken by the businesses to mitigate capital progress forced by a losing product.
I'm old enough to remember when the left (well the ACLU anyway) supported the Nazi's (or neo-NAZI's) right to march in Skokie, IL. Talked about the case in law school too.
I don't even want to think about the reaction from today's left if that were to happen today. But I'm certain the Colbert/Kimmel groupies and the modern day democrat politicians would be singing a different tune...
Freedom of speech depends for its stability on one party or the other at least working on its structural foundation. At the moment both parties are in tit for tat mode, which means the collapse of the freedom of speech.

That was the ACLU after they purged the Communists, but before they succumbed to the new left about twenty years ago. A passing moment of liberalism, if you will. Such liberals are now Republicans.
The existence of libel law requires that there are accountabilities to free speech that are not cured by the first amendment. I am sure that this is a topic of some obscure law journal.
So ABC did to Kimmel what the left wanted Netflix to do to Dave Chappell or Spotify to Joe Rogan and now they are upset? F right off. Either you are for free speech or you aren't. I don't think FCC threats are reasonable, but if Kimmel was making money, he'd still have a show. No one is stopping Kimmel from seeking other avenues to express his views.
Kimmel should sue ABC if he thinks they have done something wrong.

Behold the "Republican-friendly rhetoric" - the wild hyperbole we all love so much!
What "press freedoms" have been "ended," Kak? What "press freedoms" are contemplated to be "ended"? A company preemptively preempted a low-rating show - a show they could, er, re-empt tomorrow, but probably won't because of the aforementioned low ratings.
What "work" the FCC might then undertake, as Carr said, was and is unstated. Might it be admonishment to be factual when you say you're being factual, per your broadcast license? I don't know. But given the entire administration's adherence to law, regulation, and court rulings, I'd say it wouldn't include pulling ABC's license unless it could be shown no longer to be meeting the conditions of that license.
Now, I do agree Carr should've kept his mouth shut and let Kimmel's inevitable cancellation (of his show, Kak - not of his ability to make a living, buy property, participate in social media...) happen because he was not doing his one job - catching eyeballs.

Yeah, but lazy and not particularly bright aren't far behind.

“Speaking to reporters, Trump suggested that the Federal Communications Commission should revoke broadcasters’ licenses, arguing that many late-night hosts appearing on those networks are “against me” and that “they give me only bad publicity, press.”
“I mean, they’re getting a license. I would think maybe their license should be taken away. It will be up to Brendan Carr,” Trump said on Air Force One, referring to the FCC chairman. “I think Brendan Carr is outstanding. He’s a patriot. He loves our country, and he’s a tough guy, so we’ll have to see.”
Trump also said of evening shows on network TV: “All they do is hit Trump. They’re licensed. They’re not allowed to do that. They’re an arm of the Democrat Party.”
WHO says they’re not allowed to do that?

Achilles: Freedom of Speech is a right, not a privilege. It's a natural right bestowed upon us by Gaia, Odin, or in your case, Allah may piece be up on him.
Rights without Obligations are meaningless.
The only reason the First Amendment exists is because the revolutionaries stood victorious on the battle field and told the King to eat dicks. If they did not do violence there was no Constitution.
The Constitution and the Bill of Rights were singed on a table by people sitting in chairs that were held up by the skulls of the King's loyalists.
The only reason Natural Rights exist is because we all got together and agreed they existed. They agreed that these rights were granted by the Christian god. They explicitly stated that this Constitution would only work for a moral people with great (Christian)virtue. The only religion that produces these people consistently is Protestant Christianity.
The 1st Amendment is meaningless if people who do not believe in it take power. If the Democrat Party in its current form takes power they will do everything they can to censor us like they did during the Biden Regime.
We are under no Obligation to give people Rights whose only goal is to use that Right take that right away from us.
Would be great tv if Fallon had Roseanne on and talked about nothing but her situation and Charlie Kirk related issues. A great tv guy would do it. These folks are not great and won't do it.
Inga - Where are the right leaning or centrist late night MSM hosts? Can't have just coastal culture/beautiful people late night BS. Ugly people, boring people, poor people, dumb asses, they all need their representation in late night MSM.

The laws says that.
These Broadcasters are granted RF bandwidth that is worth Billions of dollars. Because they are granted these bands they are under obligation to the people of the country.
If the Government took away ABC's RF bandwidth and put it up for public auction we could start to pay off the National Debt.
It is absurd that we allow these giant corporations to spew Democrat crap on RF bands they should be paying for.

WHO says? You? You can’t rewrite the Constitution to suit your worldview.
its a cycle that begins with good morning america, and ends with kimmel, now even on the weekends they unleash gma on us, thankfully not the Spew
“The laws says that.”
Wrong.
“Claim: "They're licensed. They're not allowed to do that."
This is a misstatement of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licensing process.
Station vs. network licenses: The FCC licenses individual television stations to use public airwaves, not entire national networks like ABC or NBC.
No "fairness doctrine": Trump's statement recalls the "Fairness Doctrine," a former FCC policy that required broadcasters to present contrasting viewpoints on controversial issues. However, this policy was eliminated in 1987 and is no longer enforced. The FCC found that the rule violated the First Amendment and that the vast proliferation of news sources made it unnecessary.
Limited content regulation: The First Amendment and the Communications Act explicitly prohibit the FCC from censoring broadcasters' content. The FCC's oversight of programming is very limited, primarily focusing on indecency standards and technical requirements.”
The "burdens" of Obama progressive return to haunt him. You can only perform an abortion once, with rare survivors. Now what? Sit down and shut up? Maybe, baby, a fetus or feature of liberal license.
“Claim: "They're an arm of the Democratic Party."
This claim is a political accusation, not a legal one, and falls outside the scope of government regulation.
Protected political speech: The First Amendment's protections for freedom of the press and speech explicitly cover criticism of government officials and political figures.
Right to editorial discretion: The Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed the right of media outlets to exercise editorial control and judgment over what they publish or broadcast. The government cannot force a media outlet to provide space for views that are not its own.
Media bias and criticism: While media outlets may be criticized for perceived political bias—a long-standing and often heated issue in American politics—government officials cannot use their power to silence or penalize speech they disagree with.”
one remembers how ted kennedy used the fairness doctrine, to keep all other murdoch papers out of contention,
thats crazy, next thing you know, a paper would be blocked from sharing an important story on social media, by every platform, what is the world coming to,
that actually happened in 2020

So exactly what I said.
We shouldn't be licensing public airwaves only to affiliates of 3 broadcast networks.
Licenses are not for content, but for technical standards
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licenses individual broadcast stations, not the national networks themselves (e.g., ABC, NBC).
These licenses govern technical and financial aspects of operation, and are reviewed by the FCC. The agency expressly prohibits itself from censoring broadcast content.
Broadcasters are granted the use of public airwaves in exchange for operating in the "public interest." However, this does not grant the government control over a station's political commentary.
As best I can tell, Roseanne was cancelled because she said the Valerie Jarrett was ugly. Is that wrong? It's not a NICE thing to say, but is it an UNTRUE thing to say?
Normally I would be at least mildly skeptical of Roseanne's claim that both Obamas called Bob Iger and demanded her fire her, but as soon as I saw that the claim was labeled as "baseless" and a "falsehood," I knew that it was true.
Just like "Let me be clear" by Obama and others, and "Frankly" by Newt Gingrich were 'tells' that whatever followed was a lie of some sort, so too are "baseless" and '"falsehood" 'tells' that whatever follows is true--inconvenient or unpleasant, maybe, but true.
P.S.: The reason people utter 'tells' before lying is that lying takes more mental energy than telling the truth, so the brain spams out meaningless phrases to allow for more time to think (the same way we say "uh" and the Japanese say "eh-do"). Because we interpret frequent 'uh' as stupidity, politicians and media people develop their own phrases that fulfill the same function of giving the brain more time for the content of the sentence. This is a good trick to avoid seeming dumb, but it provides those who pay attention with a powerful tool.
P.P.S.: I haven't identified Trump's 'tell' because I don't really listen to him (or other politicians) very much anymore because transcripts are so readily available. You can always tell when Trump goes off script, but he does give the impression that he's lying then. Indeed it's quite the opposite: when he starts to improvise, he somehow communicates that he's telling you some unvarnished truth that no one else dares to speak, even if it's uncomfortable or extreme. Biden, before he went senile (so, pre-VP and P years) also had a successful version of that play, making it seem that he was telling you the 'tough thing you need to hear' even when that tough thing benefitted himself and his party 100% of the time.
its just a coincidence there are three prime time networks that lean so far to the left, they fall off the planet, actually five with the spanish nets,
Making a claim that the shooter is MAGA, which is clearly false, and then promising to double down on the libel is not political commentary. It is, when done over a broadcast channel, broadcasting false information related to a crime. There is no free speech protection for libeling others.
What people are doing in attempting to defend Kimmel is highlighting exactly why he needed to be suspended, because they are defending libel because to them it is acceptable to libel a certain segment of the population.
Even Ted Cruz…
“Sen. Ted Cruz on his podcast Friday admonished Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr for demanding ABC suspend Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show over comments regarding Charlie Kirk — calling Carr’s actions “dangerous as hell” and “right out of ‘Goodfellas.’”
“If the government gets in the business of saying, ‘We don’t like what you, the media, have said; we’re going to ban you from the airwaves if you don’t say what we like’ — that will end up bad for conservatives,” said the Texas Republican.”
Politico
they lie, and double down on the lie, they turn the truth into the lie,
bless his heart, but Ted should know better, they blocked the New York Post, they banned the President, they tried to block his alternate platform, they tried to put him in jail for thought crimes,
every one of these gremlins we find here cheered about that,
Barack and Michelle may not remember because it didn’t happen. At least that’s what AI suggests:
“Reports and public statements do not support the claim that Barack Obama called Bob Iger to have Roseanne Barr fired. The rumor originated from an unsourced tweet in 2018, and Barr has continued to repeat the accusation without evidence, including a recent post on X.”
In deference to our host, I won’t put too much weight on “without evidence.” Nonetheless, an “unsourced tweet” isn’t very good evidence, and would not be admissible as evidence in court.
Blaming the FCC chair is a case of correlation, not causation. Lots of people have and will lose their jobs at networks. There are multiple reasons, but mostly because they suck at the job the network owners hired them to do, and in Kimmel's case he's even said he doesn't care if people like his show, he's not changing.
Who here would continue to pay an employee that is costing you money because they refuse to do their job, and who publicly says false embarrassing things with your name below their face every night? Anyone down for that?
No network would have kept Kimmel on, even if the FCC didn't exist. He was doing a terrible job at entertainment, the thing he's paid for.
Well let's see...
"The FCC’s policy on Broadcasting False Information states that a violation occurs when these four conditions line up:
The statement must be false.
The broadcaster must know it’s false or act with reckless disregard for the truth.
It must be reasonably foreseeable that broadcasting it will cause harm.
There must be actual harm or at least the potential for serious harm."
Roseanne could be lying, but I'm pretty sure she knows how and why it went down by now. Regardless, she was delivering what she was paid for, she created the show, it had high ratings, she apologized, claimed she did not know Valerie Jarrett was Black, which I believe, because I didn't either, so she did not intend to offend. None of these things against cancellation can be said about Kimmel.
How big of a headache are you going to go through for a guy with 129K viewers, and most of them old, you know, like the people at the “No Kings “ rallies.
His plan was to double down on the lies and say his words were twisted by us MAGA people, which is why the executives were not going to let him near a microphone
what proof is there, phone calls emails, oh the word of Bob Iger, who has crashed the Disney Stock
You know who always assumes that other people are lying? Liars.
It's always the same: We, the Good People of the World, cannot allow the Bad People to exercise certain rights and privileges. I mean, if we did, then what's the point in being Good? Heck, the Bad People might start thinking they were Good...!
The irony is that the left's defense of speech rests on advocacy and entertainment of abortive ideation to relieve a "burden". h/t Obama. In combination with advocacy and practice of DEIsm (e.g. racism, sexism, ageism, etc), Dreams of Herr Mengele, redistributive change, etc, they identify as their progenitors in the National Socialist party, Chinese Communist Party, Italian fascists, etc.
And dat fuckin’ Barcky ate a dog! Who does that?!?!
AI summarizes on-line commentary, it doesn’t analyze issues, in fact, I am pretty sure that our Chorus line here deliberately injects disinformation in order to influence AI, which somehow people think rates as a primary source.
In the woke of the trans affirmative assassination, the politically congruent ("=") should have curbed their incitement to violent affirmative action. #HateLovesAbortion

"I'm happy to see America's lefties swooning in love with freedom for *their* speech. Others? Not so much."
FIFY
Since the purpose of PBS is to present non-commercial programming, maybe the millions of Kimmel fans could chip in to fund his show on public TV, rather than rely on the evil capitalist system. As long as it's no longer taxpayer funded, I'm fine with it. Of course, if they're not willing to pay for it, why should anyone else?
"Of course, if they're not willing to pay for it, why should anyone else?"
That's the whole point of progressivism- other people should pay for what they want.

Freedom of speech refers to the government not restricting or punishing speech. Employers have a right to restrict what employees say because it can bring disrepute and lawsuits on their heads. Being self-employed helps alleviate that. The Left has grown accustomed to saying insane shit, promoting violence, and celebrating crime/violence without any pushback from employers including gov employees. They are shocked when they are now getting slapped down for being insane in public. I am still waiting for those supplying gas masks and pallets of bricks to rioters to pay for inciting riots.
The only principle in politics is who's ox is to be gored.
