They got away with cashing dead grandma’s Social Security checks for more than two decades and SSA did not spot it? Amazing.
Meanwhile I can imagine that there are a lot of people in prison wondering why they didn’t think of that defense: “Our family business is our family business." That’s a sure-fire get out of jail card if ever there was.

My father died a couple of hours before the end of June in 2011. The government tried to reclaim his SS payment for that month.

Steve--The Crockett thing is probably a hoax, but citing Snopes doesn't exactly disprove anything. Especially when the article in the Atlanta Black Star also relays with approval Crockett's casual slander of Trump:
