Like many awards, the Presidential Medal of Freedom has lost much meaning and all cache with me. It's become just a way of awarding political allies, friends, and celebrities, with no real meaning or reflection or weighing in bestowing the medal. But it does allow the ugly people in politics to jock sniff the beautiful people in show business so the receptions are probably nice.
I detest U2. in every direction.
