Is Donald Trump today the same guy that Clay Aiken knew in 2012?
Clay Aiken, the erstwhile "American Idol" and "Apprentice" contestant, is impressively articulate and diplomatic expounding on Trump's personality (on the Zach Sang Show):

Trump and half the nation does not accept the results of the 2020 election is because we know they were fraudulent. Abuse of absentee ballots in swing states WI, MI, GA, PA, AZ. The 2024 too big to rig victory in all these states provides further proof. We all saw the 2020 fraud happening in real time. The Biden Administration as governed as if they are accountable to no one expect themselves and their corruption.
OK.
Democrats are not know to apologize for anything. ever.
Then again- the media have the hive so invested in complete BS - why would Crook Joe ever need to apologize for using shell companies and Ukrainian energy company Burisma - and our tax dollars to enrich their family (same with China etc... )
Well it was stolen from him,
Very Churchillian in his dislike of or refusal to compromise. Churchill, when he knew or at last accepted he had given offense, would make gestures or gifts to emend the situation but not apologize. Not saying Trump is Churchillian beyond liking to talk and his attitude to apologies, but he does run against the establishment. What Trump lacks is Churchill's cohesive political philosophy and his visionary aspect. Trump is improvisational and tends to muddle through. Churchill saw a lot of what was coming but was unable to stop it in the 1930s.
>He does not like to lose.<
Yeah, he and about 8 billion other people on the planet. Thanks for the revelation, Clay. And for digging so very deeply into his reason...
Dustbin Doo-doo is about to go the way of Brain dead Biden.
The fact Clay Aiken is co-parents with a "Jaymes" was expected, but the fact it's a heterosexual pairing is wilder fantasy than anything on modern television.
Hillary said the Russians stole it from her three years later Gore said similar things
Consider the source. Aiken twice ran for Congress as a Democrat, and seems to have shifting opinions of Trump.
"Remember all those times I defended Donald Trump and believed he was not actually racist? Well... I am a f*****g dumbass," he tweeted.

Today is the correction for the fraudulent election certified by Congress on J6 2021, and the FBI/Pelosi/Schumer/Pence J6 set up. We should all be very thankful, or we would be stuck here with these corrupt Democrats and their deep state counterparts forever.
I hope Mike Pence feels like shit today. Asshole.
Or he knew that 10 million new voters didn't magically materialize during Covid to elect Biden.
Think official vote tallies for 2016, 2020, and 2024 presidential elections pretty much confirm that 2020 election was actually stolen by Democrats via fake votes, double votes, harvested votes, fabricated votes - maybe as many as 10 million votes. Stakes were as high in 2024 as in 2020, at least 1.4 billion was spent by Democratic Party in Fall 2024, a new record, significantly outspending Trump campaign, so why didn't Democrats get Harris elected?
Oh, and anyone who thinks a celebrity's opinion matters in a presidential election has no been proven wrong. Go ask Harris how effective her celebrity star endorsements mattered.
2024 election results for Wisconsin senator were certainly rigged in Milwaukee County to favor Baldwin, with magically-appearing late-night 30,000+ votes for Baldwin creating a miniscule last-minute win for her. Surprised Hovde didn't make a fuss.
He actually makes a more interesting point that because Donald doesn't have to run anymore and he can't lose anymore, he hopes that Trump is successful in proving his critics wrong. But that type of positivity won't sell any books on Amazon and it won't Garner comments from the aggrieved victimologists who whine and complain endlessly on this blog about 2020.
Oh yeah and if anybody who thinks a celebrity opinion no longer matters in a presidential election, go ask Trump how effective the entertainment moguls Joe Rogan and Dana White endorsements mattered.
Even if Trump pushed the policies of Hillary Clinton for four years, insane people like Keith Olbermann and The View would still hate him.
Exactly.
Hear hear!
None of the pols like to lose. But the civic religion requires that they pull themselves together and try to act statesmanlike.
"...if anybody who thinks a celebrity opinion no longer matters in a presidential election, go ask Trump how effective the entertainment moguls Joe Rogan and Dana White endorsements mattered..."
I would submit that if Rogan had simply endorsed Trump it would not have moved the voting patterns enough to matter. BUT by Trump being open to any and all questions by Rogan for hours - and being FAR from the Hitler-lite MSM portrait - it made a YUGE difference.
Exactly right. Two huge celebrities having a long form conversation on the most popular podcast (a podcast that, by the way, I informed this blog about before Trump first runned for president) in the history of planet Earth definitely impacted the election. I think the point is that the celebrities Harris bought and paid for are no longer relevant to the voting public.
Jimmy Carter said the same thing about both those elections.
Politicians and their hangers-on don't like to admit that they were wrong. Look at Biden and Harris. Look at Hillary Clinton. Admit you've been wrong often enough or badly enough and you're out of politics. They're also unlikely to admit that they lost if there are question marks or asterisks on the election results.
I with ya. Milwaukee is corrupt. It becomes more corrupt as it declines.
Goes hand in hand. Madison too. You can see it clearly from from Waukesha County. Wisconsin Democrats are some of the craziest in the nation.
Clay Aiken says Donald Trump doesn’t have to satisfy the anti semitic base of his party. The anti semites are all in the Democrat party. Where has this guy been for the last 4 years. As far as his advice - it’s in line with every Republican political advisor - now that you’ve been elected, it’s time to do whatever Democrats want you to do. I’ll give Aiken points for being reasonable but not for using reason.
I wondered how Trump survived the lethal attack from the Dems (and it was almost lethal), how he managed to maintain his sanity and purpose. Like most people, I presumed that Trump’s religious posing was theater. Then, I read “The Power of Thinking,” by Norman Vincent Peale. Peale was Trump’s pastor at the Marble Collegiate Church. Peale did preach Christianity, just an odd version, the Wealth and Prosperity kind. If you read the book, you’ll see that Peale even follows the Sola Scriptura argument style that he learned, initially, as a Methodist preacher. Trump was educated in ignoring the negative obstacles and always thinking of himself as winning. This solved the mystery for me of how Trump stood the furious assault. Trump always envisions himself as ultimately winning.
How many times do we need to see the graph of democrat votes the last 4 elections?
A corrupt national election, massaged by COVID is something that has to be corrected. You know it was fraudulent. It was actually quite evil. Thus how you use the terms "whine and complain". You just support the output of the 2020 fraud and are glad it worked. Let's quite pretending you have any interest in "democracy."
Rogan and Dana White aren't group think Hollywood or Music industry celebrities. There's a huge difference. Swing and a miss here Howard.
Illinois alum who saw Butkus play in college. The NIL fund for Illinois football this year is $373 million! I’m sure that Illini boosters kept Butkus in pocket money, but he didn’t cash in like this.
Trump didn't accept the loss in 2020 because the election was obviously rigged in several ways, starting with how the dems changed the rules (often unlawfully) to make it mostly mail-in, but also including Zuckbucks and censorship by big tech. Results from the bellwether counties pointed to a Trump win. Throw in other, highly suspicious factors, like the sudden and seemingly orchestrated pause in the overnight counting of ballots in several swing states, and the dems' utter refusal to entertain any kind of investigation of alleged irregularities, and Trump had plenty of reason to believe he had been grievously cheated. And he's simply not the kind of guy who was going to let his enemies off the hook for their complicity in all of that by simply "accepting" the loss.
And not only was it stolen, the Judiciary made a complete MOCKERY of itself in refusing to even HEAR a case concerning election fraud. The 2020 election was absolutely rigged and don't for a SECOND think that this is the only election in the United States that is being rigged. Most of them are. And the media is keeping quiet about it because they know we would completely DISBAND our government if Americans knew the true extent of what has transpired.
Seems like a nice enough guy, but if we are relying on Clay Aiken's opinions to run the country we are all screwed.
"Swing and a miss here Howard."
Another massive swing and miss.
Comparing a flash in the pan D-list singer in the US whose minor bout with "fame" lasted 15 minutes 2 decades ago with people who built hugely successful and enduring businesses and operations and communicataion formats with massive followings, sometimes global followings, is typical of Howard.
He is unrecognizable as the AI Season 2 contestant. I know people change as they age, but wow.
Happy New Year, Howard
Rogan is in a more influential position because of his podcast. People who enjoy listening to someone bullshit for several hours a week are different than those who enjoy UFC.. I don’t think Dana White helped Trump anymore than Taylor Swift helped Kamala. About 30% of those eligible to vote aren’t even registered. UFC fans and Taylor Swift fans 18 and older have to be in that cohort.
Mainstream celebrities and hyper popular celebrities (Taylor Swift/Beyonce/Madonna/Cloney/Streep/TheView etc) are not the same as independent non-hivemind celebrities - like Joe Rogan.
Is Donald Trump today the same guy that Clay Aiken knew in 2012?
There’s no way he could be the same man, given what he was put through during his first administration, and given what he was put through in 2023 and 2024 (including not just the lawfare but a near assassination and a second attempted assassination): I’m sure he’s harder and less likely to accept pushback. Is that good? Given the mindless hatred of his Democrat opposition, probably yes.
Studiously missing the point. The reason that Trump, and the rest of us, question the election results is that we were there, and remember what happened on election night, gaslighting notwithstanding.
"Clay Aiken, the erstwhile "American Idol" and "Apprentice" contestant..."
According to Wikipedia, he did not win either. Maybe someone should ask him how he liked losing.
That was so ridiculous I had to shut it off mid way. Has Aiken forgotten that Trump was already president for four years and did not destroy democracy? There is something about willful stupidity I can't tolerate.
Howard. It all depends on who's listening. A lot more people listen to Rogan than Oprah et al.
"Trump and half the nation does not accept the results of the 2020 election is because we know they were fraudulent."
No, you don't. For all the heated assertions to that effect, no evidence has been produced to support it, much less prove it. Trump's ignorant supporters want to believe it because they're emotionally children. Trump does know better, but he's lying, (as, when is he not?). He "always be lying." (sic)
"Very Churchillian in his dislike of or refusal to compromise."
Churchill was an obnoxious asshole, too. However, he was also intelligent, brave, literate, and highly competent. That's where the Churchill/Trump comparison falls apart.
