The election is about two clear choices: Do you want someone who can competently steer the ship of state, or make it easier for you to kill your babies.

Ron DeSantis- who would have been my primary choice had it not already been decided by the time NY had it's primaries, couldn't gain traction among Republicans. If he had received the nomination- he would be characterized as the next Hitler. Since most Republicans want Trump (see: recent presidential primaries) , just about all of that "10 percent" you mention would necessarily have to come from Harris supporters. You said "any other Republican", name seven.

I love the winter! The entire cycle is beautiful and if you can feel that, you’ll be happy and strong.
I don't so much love winter as love the cycle. I left Phoenix to come back to Idaho for that. In the desert, there were six months of summer and another two of "just about summer"- far too much. I'm happy to have three months for each season now.

Why did the DNC apparatus sue to keep RFK JR’s name off certain state ballots and simultaneously sue to keep him on certain state ballots?

RFK Jr’s name ON or OFF ballots, changes the dynamic of the paper format and the physical alignment in the scanner.
The county tabulation scanners need one ballot format per county to scan for vote tally.
In states where they preprinted/made the fraudulent county level ballots *without* RFK Jr’s name, the DNC sued to keep him off.

WI AG Josh Kaul’s agents raided the office and home of Wausau’s mayor on Wednesday. Apparently Kaul didn’t like that Mayor Diny removed an insecure ballot drop box from outside city hall and moved it inside. Agents took numerous items including cell phones from the mayors home and office including the mayors wife’s phone. Not sure but our state AG seems like he might be a commie.

The WI SC ruled that the lock boxes are under the authority and jurisdiction of the city clerk. The Mayor was politically against lockboxes and was unauthorized to move it. He should’ve known better. Hopefully he gets off with just a slap on the wrist, he seems like a decent fellow.
So raiding the Mayors office and home and office and taking their devices seems apt then. Maybe you would like to comment on Kauls indictment of Trumps election atty for “uttering a forgery”. To include attempting to seal and gag the retired WI judge. Seems normal. For the USSR.

Interfering with the electoral process is something any citizen would be investigated for. Diny as the Mayor is not above the law. He was warned not to tamper with the drop box.
“Council President Rasmussen said Diny was previously advised by the city attorney that he did not have the right to move the box, which was locked and awaiting installation by the Department of Public Works. Rasmussen said the fact that Diny removed the box even after receiving advice against doing so is especially relevant to Wausau’s ethics code.”

Things you probably didn’t know
In June WI AG Josh Kaul criminally indicted retired judge and Trump 2020 election atty. James Troupis for “conspiring to utter a forgery” for his part in establishing an alternate slate of electors in Dec. 2020.
Prior to the public announcement of the indictment, Kauls office requested and was granted that the filings be sealed and a gag order was placed on Troupis through the subpoena he was served several days after the public announcement.
The judge relented and now we can see the motion to quash and the motion to unseal where there is much to learn.
In Bush v Gore, the Supreme Court ruled against Gore because his team failed to produce an alternate slate of electors and Troupis was not about to make the same mistake. Prior to doing so he notified all relevant parties of his intent to include Josh Kauls office. The AG understood why this was necessary and provided guidance to the WI election commission that this was proper procedure.
Under Troupis’ leadership the WI challenge to the Nov election was based on improper use of absentee ballots in both Dane and Milwaukee counties. In addition there was a recount of both counties. In the end Troupis lost in the WI Supreme Court 4-3 citing the doctrine of laches. Troupis needed to keep his options open while the challenges wound their way through the court system so he had the alternate electors meet on Dec 14th , the designated date for electors to vote.

Ahhhh, Troupis. Fake electors. The WI fake electors scheme isn’t being prosecuted the way other states are doing, more’s the pity. Who the hell do they think they were? We already had legal state electors to do their duty in certifying the election. The fake elector schemes were election interference.

I just wanted to let you know that I was inspired by you today while faced with a local political communication problem here in Cicero-Clay NY (where a huge new Chip plant is going to be built and change everything about the community). The best solution, after carefully reflecting on every available option, became obvious: Community "CAFE" threads to encourage local discussion. Thank you, from the ghost of times past, for everything you do. It is absolutely wonderful to be able to reflect back in time 10 years or so and find that your simple astute solution still works!
