The late, great journalist Harry Evans one time said that journalists should really try to achieve objectivity. And by that, he said, I mean, they should cover the object. Well, the object in this case is Donald Trump, his demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world, and stick with it.... The second thing, though, is that part of what Trump is counting on is for people to get desensitized. I mean, oh, my gosh, did you hear what he said yesterday? Did you hear who he attacked? Did you hear the viciousness? And it's just, like with a shrug, OK, fine we're moving on...."

And 2008 was her year. This was until that upstart little smooth talking negro swept in to take a nomination that was rightfully hers. The dream once more deferred.
Swallowing her pride she joined Mr Smooth Talking Negro's cabinet. Being a good little girl and a team player in exchange for another shot at the brass ring.
Then in 2016, the nomination! Even though she had her team do some dirty pool to fend off that pesky Jew from Vermont, she had endured decades of disappointment and humiliation. Just one more hurdle to jump, and against that orange freak. Even the New York Times called her chances of winning at 99%. Polish up that victory speech!
We know what came next.
I have a lot of empathy for Hillary. To work so hard and sacrifice so much just to be denied the thing she most lusted after, the only thing that mattered. Psychological torture.
