Dr. Phil interviews Trump.

When a regime is so unpopular that they lose strong horse politics even while they hold power they will inevitably fall.

Even people who are dependent on corporate sinecures like Dr Phil are supporting Trump. These are people who do what they are told not leaders. Dwayne Johnson is another example. Many business people are doing the same thing.

And it will not be close.

Nobody likes the Obama regime and nobody likes their supporters anymore. They have crossed the line.

It's wildly amusing to watch parts of the machine try to curry favor with the next President. Biden had better start preparing to flee to China: if Hollywood and Wall Street are openly acknowledging that the Trump prosecution actually made him more sympathetic, it's over for Biden's entire illegitimate regime.

Did Dr. Phil's laptop eventually fall off the edge of the table?

I just listened to a long excerpt where Trump agreed with Dr. Phil to continue to be the guy who says, "The retribution stops here." Biden will continue to lie about that in his ads.

We'll see this again on SNL. For that matter, are you sure this wasn't a Dr. Phil imitator interviewing a Trump imitator? How would we ever know?

The "long excerpt" was on Hugh Hewitt's radio show, which I believe is available in podcast form as well.

I heard on NPR yesterday that elements in Russia are now using A.I. to create anti-Olympic propaganda. The example being cited yesterday was a documentary on the Paris Olympics supposedly narrated by Tom Cruise - except it isn't.

A lot of ice has been broken this year on the disruption of norms. How long will it be before some deniable rougue Progressive-Liberal-Establishment radical starts churning out anti-Trump A.I. products? Not long, in my opinion. By August, my guess. There's no real law against it - just established convention, standing there, ready to topple.

I was looking for some kind of bracket or something. Very precarious!

I would very much like it if some form of AI could produce reliable transcripts of these long form interviews (not that I've tried to find such a thing). If I speed the video up enough to get through it in a reasonable amount of time, I can't understand it. And I'm insufficiently interested in the entire thing to wade through it all looking for the salient moments.

I guess I'll try the Hewitt excerpt.

And Trump had two big rallies yesterday. And more. Well this is just too perfect. Last night FullMoon prognosticated:

Saw a news blurb that Trump will be in San Francisco.
Expect massive demonstrations against the despised President

Then harsh reality intruded:

"...about five times more pro-Trump demonstrators turned out than anti-Trump protesters."

From The San Francisco Standard article "Out-of-town Trump fans descend on SF, turning a liberal city red" more excerpts: "The [pro-Trump] protest was about 250 people strong after growing from around 80 earlier in the day, plus a handful of counter-protesters."

Gee a liberal rag won't even offer a number?

“'The DOJ is crooked,' Gary said. 'They got him for a bookkeeping charge.' Distrust of journalists was also evident among the former president’s supporters. Gary added that the mainstream media is 'corrupt' and said most TV journalists 'aren’t even real reporters.'”

But the cream of the crop is this quote: "The paltry turnout of anti-Trump protesters paled [ed: whitey white San Frans, no doubt] in comparison to the number of people who came out for Trump, who at times led chants, 'USA, USA, USA,' and 'We want Trump.'”

TGIF we all deserve a laugh today!

The Dr Phil interview is the complete opposite of the Lesley Stahl interview

I love the way Trump says 'Mental Institutions' and a little comment shows up at the bottom of the screen, '* Psychiatric Facility'.

Nice job. The two quickly agree that Biden may have let in 25 million people with no paperwork by the end of the year, and prisons have been emptied in both Congo and Venezuela to send people to the U.S.

If China is buying up land close to strategic military installations, it's not clear Trump knows what to do about it.

They both agree that revenge should stop "here," and Trump says the best revenge is success.

Why are there a lot of Trump haters? Why indeed is he not running unopposed? My theory is that careerists love a combination of career and virtue-signalling. As long as you pretend to love the whole human race, you don't have to care very much about anybody at all. Trump spoils the game.

A jerk interviewing a jerk... What a novelty.

That's like picking J.D Vance, Tom Cotton, Marco Rubio or Kari Lake for Vice President. Could it be worse? I don't think so.

He's a pretty funny and genuine guy. I've never listened to him talk for more than a couple of minutes before now.

My favorite part of the interview: Trump says (approx), “I never took a salary [as President], it’s about $450,000. . . . it’s still money.” Ahh, to be a billionaire.
vickie from Pasadena: it’s a great interview. Dr. Phil doesn’t grand stand, doesn’t try to monopolize the conversation and Trump doesn’t either. It’s a very good conversation. Maybe it won’t convince you to vote for Trump but I think you’ll understand him better.

I have seen on YouTube some very good interviews from, for example, the BBC and the Hoover Institution. Good questions and the guests are permitted to answer. And the follow-up questions are excellent.

MJB Wolf made me think of something:

Maybe Trump isnt doing rallies in the BX, SF, etc, in hopes of flipping those states.

Maybe this is a tacit way of saying “my people can overwhelm any of your cities. If you think riots by a small slice of 13% of the population were scary, what about riots by half the majority ethnic group? Screw around too much with the lawfare and the imaginary votes, and BLM 2020 will look like a series of Shaker picnics.”

Or maybe it’s both.

In South Africa, you kill the Boer. In USA, the Boer kills you….

BTW - I recommend any interview of Stephen Kotkin.
