We've all been living an illusion financed by America's WII generation moral victory. The children (boomers) and grandchildren (Gen X) of the victors enjoyed the spoils, and lost site of what that generation fought for and built.

Trump's conviction doesn't mean America died today. It died yesterday, with brief periods of short resuscitation. It's the logical outcome a "democracy" that was stolen 60 years ago via a REAL coup de tat.

I suspect that it might feel something out of the ordinary is called for. I could see a number of delegations calling for a very aggressive stance on reforms to the election process, with the potential for floor fights that would be extremely interesting. Also very entertaining if the MSM covered them, which they would not.
