This is a way to force users into green energy use, which we've seen is the MO since the first month we moved here three years ago. The woodpeckers are just convinced that they can peck through the plastic sides of the birdfeeders. It seems the woodpeckers can learn how to balance sideways to get the seeds which come out in tiny trays at the bottom of the feeders; they cannot learn that that is the only feeding trick that will ever work on a bird feeder. Woodpeckers are relatively big birds and I guess they find that sideways twist hard and keep hoping they can break through to the Big Seed Pile they can see - right there, right there, rat-a-tat-tat. Higher up still, there is no visible bud growth on the trees but the maple syrup season is already over. Flowering-bud preparations are going on inside those silent lines of cold, gray tree trunks. Short answer. Yeah.
Since you're going to change the timing chain anyway just go ahead and replace all that stuff. That way you don't have to deal with it again for another 100,000 miles.
In my case everything but the water pump came in an aftermarket kit. Honda parts are very expensive and they don't sell all the parts as a kit.
