I've been thinking about where Meade and Althouse should stay when they visit Omaha. Either the Hilton or the Marriott which are next to the convention center/arena or the Embassy Suites in the Old Market. From all three hotels, Ann can do her morning run and visit the Mighty Mo River and catch the sunrise over Council Bluffs, Iowa.
My AirBnB is furnished with all the leftovers of our house, plus leftover staging furniture from construction projects, plus leftovers from guests (mostly pool inflatable toys, but also some bridal party stuff that I can't let my mother ever see). Design? I found hotel surplus used mattresses, and paper shades from Home Depot, and the finest Corelle dishware from Wallmart, on sale. With AirBnB, it is LOCATIONx10 and as long as the doors lock, the toilet flushes, and there aren't any rodents or roaches, all is well. Guests don't rent AirBnB for the decor, they rent to be where they want to be.
I was wondering if the AirBnB one would touch on the practice I've heard about. Apparently some AirBnB renters suggest and expect you to tip them in addition to just paying the normal rental fee. Also that one AirBnB skit actress, I think her character's name was Chanel, looked a bit like Tiffany Trump.
But with both AirBnB and generic hotel not looking like good options, what is a traveler to do?
The hotel one was funnier. Both were humorous but it goes to show that SNL needs better writers since they are literally recycling the same skit from a few seasons prior.

TJ Maxx Home Goods.. that's where America goes to buy that crap.
Those were pretty good. Thanks.
The hotel skit was hilarious! I needed a good laugh today.
I've got a dozen Airbnbs and they do not look like this. But it was pretty funny and also accurate in general.
Those are not bad, for SNL.
I swear that's the first time in YEARS that I have actually laughed at an SNL skit. Thanks!
Those were funny. I know I hate that woman, and for good reason. But those were funny.
Several kids died thanks to the aunt who drove the wrong way on the Taconic. The skit was funny, but that one line was an unnecessary jolt.

"You may already know us from our work on ... the Wonka Experience in Glasgow" made me laugh.
