Nice composition on that shot, Meade! 👍

Beautiful. Details, please: where on the map? Going from where to where? Length, vertical feet, surface? Why is it called what it is called? (The name makes me think it just emerged from beneath the receding glacier; or that it runs on glacial moraine).

I'm wondering why there haven't been any arrests of the biological weapons manufacturers at Boston College, who have been weaponizing COVID19 to the point where they've announced they've achieved an 80% kill rate.

All without ANY government approval to be tinkering around with deadly viruses in one of the most populous cities in the country, according to the National Institutes of Health.

Why no arrests? Isn't manufacturing bio-weapons without a permit a federal felony?

I've stopped worrying about climate change, the next elections, Russia nuclear weapons because they're about to let Captain Trips out of his cage.

Yes, that's a really cute Nordic gnome in the pic.

Happy Birthday Charles Ives. An American original.

My wife was showing me some photos from her Europals, walking near the Baraque Michel in Belgium. Doesn't look all that different.

I was proud that she remembered that her father had been there, one bad winter.

Is it just my imagination, or did imdb recently change the popcorn/critics score to a combined score that hides the individual scores. I used to look for high popcorn 🍿 low critics 🍅 to find movies that were not woke, since I don’t want to pay for sermons when I just want entertainment. I guess that it’s another case of, “if it’s free, you’re the product,” and the movie industry certainly knows that audiences used the twin ratings to avoid their proselytizing, so they reduced the amount of information they were giving us in the guise of a “helpful” combined score. It just makes me avoid their site, since those scores were the reason I went there.

Looks like a winery I stayed at in Wales a few years ago.

Seeing some very powerful anti-Fetterman ads here in Philly suburbs. Timing and message was focused on suburban voters. Most interesting was one that contrasted him with Shapiro, the suburban popular D Governor candidate. It basically said that don’t think Fetterman is the same as Shapiro. It’s ok to vote for Shapiro and not Fetterman

Smart. Hopeful.

The FBI suck big time. Joe very own gestapo is going too far. THis is a travesty, and SOMEBODY needs to pay for this. This man wasn't even IN DC on Jan 6th, but the FBI raided his house. This isn't going to end well. "He has never been arrested or charged with any crime previously. He has no history of violence. He was the recipient of the nations highest honor for public safety officers, the Medal of Valor. What they’re doing to him is an abomination."

Wonderful on all counts.

Unknown: Can you really claim an80% kill rate if you’ve only been testing it on undergraduate volunteers?

Oh, c'mon Prof. Althouse. We're both 71 but I wouldn't describe myself as ice age. Later neolithic at the worst.
