"In all, with these women, [Elon Musk] had eight children: with Wilson his first child died of sudden infant death syndrome, then he had twins, then triplets."

"With Grimes he had a boy named X and a girl nicknamed Y.... [H]e had twins with Shivon Zilis, an executive at one of his companies. These secret twins were born weeks before the birth of Y. Even before this month was over The Wall Street Journal alleged that Musk had an affair with Nicole Shanahan, wife of the Google co-founder Sergey Brin, which Musk took to Twitter to strongly deny. 'I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic,' he tweeted, noting that he’d been at a party with Brin the night before. Musk even responded on Twitter with this key data point: 'Haven’t even had sex in ages (sigh).'...  There was once a bestselling self-help book called Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus, which posited the rather reductionist theory that men failed in love because their 'male trait' logical geek brains could not comprehend us soft-headed emotional women. Is there nothing Elon Musk cannot do?

Whereas Donald Trump is constantly telling you the things he's done, and the rest of the world is accusing him of things he's done, Elon Musk just gets right down to it and does stuff. Like...develop rockets that work. Plan a flight to Mars. Bore tunnels under cities. Make babies. Develop electric cars and large storage batteries. Solar panels. Connecting the human mind with computers. Not to mention starting up Paypal with friends. And more. Did I say 'make babies'?

S.R. Hadden: First rule in billionaire spending: why build one when you can have two at twice the price? Musk should have kept one secret. Controlled by Americans, built by his Japanese subcontractors.

Of course all this baby business comes from the London Times.

The New York Times is only interested in any babies Musk aborted.

what's the problem? are people thinking that he'll be like many other african americans, and not be able to provide child support for the many (many) children he has procreated?
Spoiler alert.. He'll probably be able to afford a few children.

another spoiler alert: Women, not ALL women, but many Many MANY women LIKE billionaires.
Believe it or not, there are women out there, not ALL women, but many Many MANY women, that would GLADLY let a billionaire grab them by their pussies.
As much as women not ALL women, but many Many MANY women, like cats.. They like billionaires more better

Potentially more character assassination from the you know whos, if it is true there are two great lessons.

One, women are attracted by money and power, but the oft overlooked trump to money and power is status. Women are addicted to status among themselves and among men like heroin addicts, it overpowers everything. Two, no amount of money can protect you from the female desire for an upgrade. Furthermore, no amount of money can give you the social skills necessary to keep a woman excited much less get one in the first place. It can only be learned, and depends a great deal on your personality.

Musk has clearly got some game. But at the same time it definitely seems he gravitates towards crazy (Heard, Grimes). Grimes is a great example of a real head scratcher. A talentless 6 (at best) with daddy issues and an influencer personality without the influence, what? Musk has the money, but he really needs to be more careful...

...he's a huge target now.

I read the book when it topical. I recall it posited that men want to fix things and women want to talk about things. Actually, women want men to understand their feelings when they talk about things.

Still, Musk manages to get laid.

All these comments and no one noticed that the London Times can't seem to do basic arithmetic? If he had 1+2+3 with Wilson, 2 with Grimes, and 2 with Zillis, that's not "eight" kids, it's ten. Even if you subtract the one who died, it's still nine. Or does "With these women" somehow refer only to the first two? If so, it should have been quoted with more context.

Is "Shivon" like "Siobhan" (or "Siobhán"), but spelled weird? By "weird" I mean how it sounds rather than how it's traditionally spelled.

Whatever. Musk can certainly support all of his kids in any lifestyle imaginable but does he actually spend any time with them?

Elon musk is wealthier than Brin, and also, thanks to the hairplugs he got, better looking. I don't really know much of the personalities of any of the people involved, but it at least appears that Grimes and Musk are both somewhat eclectic. Apparently what got Musk interested is he was going to make a joke about some esoteric idea of Roko's basilisk (an AI that comes to power and punishes humanity for eternity if they didn't help bring about the AI) and replacing Roko's with Rococo like the decorating style, and he discovered that Grimes had already made that joke. While Musk's relationships seem to not last terribly long, there doesn't seem to be any bad blood with his former partners.

Fortunately, I am not looking at Musk as my spiritual advisor. I'm looking to him to help open up space for humanity. The kind of people who shake things up and get things done don't tend to be nice.

I was hoping Musk would tweet: "Was that wrong? Should I not have done that?"

And Big Mike is correct- it is a full court press right now on Musk- public enemy #1. I doubt the WSJ article is even true, and if it isn't, then shame on what used to be a decent newspaper. That story is the sort of thing I would expect from The National Inquirer or The New York Times.

Shouldn't we be glad that musk is traditionally a male scent? Otherwise the world would really be out of odor.

Are all these multiples pregnancies natural or IVF? He may have the money to take care of them but being the child of a wealthy, busy man who isn’t even married to your mom is not good for kids. Look at the son who decided he was a girl and change his name so he wouldn’t have his dads name. Wonder if he still wants dads money? Prayers for all those kids.

I am seriously perplexed at the interest so many normal-seeming people have in the lives of other people they don't know just because these other people are "celebrities" of one sort or another. In fact, the whole idea of "celebrity" pretty much escapes me. Maybe I have Asperger's.

The United States went from monogamy to serial monogamy and is now transitioning to polygamy. It's the natural order.

Religion imposes discipline - specifically Christianity (both Islam and, to a lesser extent, Judaism tolerated polygamy).

Wealthy men can attract and afford multiple wives or, as in this case, partners. These partners prefer to share a rich and bright man with other women as opposed to toiling through life alongside a poor man, who may leave when something better comes along.

Even the Christian church, long ago, dispensed with "as long as you both shall live." It wasn't same sex relationships which destroyed marriage - it was the church.
