Here's a great substack article on why wokeness is liable to continue to destroy the country's institutions and therefore the country:

No, the Revolution Isn’t Over
"None of the fundamental drivers of “Wokeness” have relented"

Section headings:
1. One does not simply walk away from religious beliefs.
2. The void of meaning still hasn’t been filled.
3. Social atomization hasn’t reversed.
4. Atomization is probably the inevitable byproduct of liberal modernity.
5. The information revolution is still reverberating.
6. There is no authority.
7. Political parties can’t choose their policies.
8. Majorities don’t matter.
9. Personnel is policy.
10. All the institutional high ground is still occupied.
11. Long marches are long.
12. Culture wars are generational wars, and the young are woke as hell.
13. The youth are still coddled and mentally broken.
14. Elite overproduction is still in overdrive.
15. “Wokeness” is still required by law.
16. Money is still power.
17. The opposition is still only political.
18. Partisanship is still getting worse, and Wokelash 2.0 is entirely possible.
19. None of the levers of power have changed or will change hands.
20. Leviathan has a’woken.

I'm astonished by all the damage the Clintons have done to this country since the Arkansas days. Decades of destruction, more yet to be revealed. Years ago I read much about the Arkansas Mafia. It has been thoroughly scrubbed from the internet, but small testimony to their tentacles. Hillary gets an award for advancing "feminist values" and is featured speaker at NY dem convention. Why? Because some people believe TV.

This information from Psychology Today has been known since the beginning of the covidiocy. If you search back through my posts- I've been preaching it for more than a year. And now- it's finally being reported as... A striking new discovery! There's over a decade's worth of studies easily found using your favorite search engine showing a relationship between Vitamin D blood levels and outcomes in every URI studied- low Vitamin D worse outcomes, higher levels, better outcomes. In EVERY URI studied, even TB. And with this knowledge, along with the knowledge that anywhere from 40%-75% (depending on the study and methodology) of the US population is not only low in Vitamin D blood levels, but actually deficient the official recommendation of the entire health establishment is the following- no need to test for Vitamin D blood levels unless patient is showing signs of clinical deficiency- which means- really really sick or has rickets. And- no need for any supplements, not even Vitamin D- because you get ALL the nutrients you need from a well balanced diet- which everyone eats. And for us submariners, there's a study showing the official RDA of D is insufficient to maintain Vitamin D blood levels for submariners on patrol. And several showing submariners and sailors in general have low Vitamin D blood levels. Reminder- the government doesn't actually care about your health. And they're not responsible for it, nor is your doctor or insurance company. You are.

But for now- it's a striking new discovery. Get your Vitamin D blood level up to 40-60 ng/ml to stay out of the ICU and avoid death.

We took a milking off to go to a memorial. Our friend who passed suddenly in December would have been 63 today and we celebrated in his honor. God bless the reserve and Faith of his wife. The VFW was packed w/farmers, family and friends. Packed. They had a video montage and a birthday featured on it. A surreal feeling to watch him celebrate a past birthday on his memorial birthday.

No other like him.

Interesting aside: I was the only conservative at a table of older liberals. The men are more vocal. They were b*tch*ng about Fox News and how it should just be taken off the air. I laughed at them and asked how else we were supposed to hear any truth?! But I don’t watch it. I told them I go online.

So, thank you.
And I especially love the center picture.

The scandal isn’t just the spying -

The CIA is generally prohibited from domestic operations.

So why did the CIA meet with a DNC lawyer to collect derogatory information about President Trump?

Putin is playing Biden like a Stradivarius. He likely has people who bought million of S&P calls yesterday, in advance of his plan to send some of his soldiers away from the front lines. Stock market up today, Profit! Today, he bought puts, and tomorrow the soldiers will return. Market crashes, Profit! All the while he had no intention of invading, as he can achieve his goals with bribery, sabotage, and coercion without losing a soldier or the admiration of humanity.

Washington Free Beacon
Adam Kredo • February 15, 2022

The Pentagon is slated to host an event on Wednesday making "the case for global justice and democratic socialism" as a means to combat China’s rise, sparking ire on Capitol Hill.

'The event, titled, "Responding to China: The Case for Global Justice and Democratic Socialism," is being hosted by the Institute for National Strategic Studies, a department of the National Defense University, the Pentagon’s top policy shop. The event is open to the public and will be held on the Pentagon’s Strategic Multilayer Assessment platform, a Defense Department initiative that studies global challenges, according to an invitation for the event posted online.

Featured speaker Thomas Piketty, a French economist, "will argue that the right answer" to addressing China’s rise "lies in ending Western arrogance and promoting a new emancipatory and egalitarian horizon on a global scale, a new form of democratic and participatory, ecological and post-colonial socialism," according to the event invitation. "If they stick to their usual lecturing posture and a dated hyper-capitalist model, Western countries may find it extremely difficult to meet the Chinese challenge." Piketty is the author of the book Time for Socialism.

The event, which was first reported by the Conservative Brief, is raising eyebrows on Capitol Hill, with Rep. Jim Banks (R., Ind.), a top Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, telling the Washington Free Beacon that the Biden administration is politicizing America’s military...'

[The late] P.J. O’Rourke on why the 2000 US election is [was] the craziest yet

'...During the 2016 presidential campaign I interviewed Trump supporters. A surprising number were sceptical of the man himself. A gas station owner in his fifties and wearing a Trump button said: “I think he’s out of whack.”

“You think he’s crazy and you’re supporting him? Would you want him in your home?” I asked.

He smiled. “No thanks.”

“But …” I began.

“But,” he continued, “I’ve got these 25-year-old underground gasoline storage tanks. They need to be replaced. I can’t get a permit to dig them up. I can’t get a federal permit. I can’t get a state permit. I can’t get a local permit. I need a permit to put new tanks in. I can’t get a federal permit, can’t get a state permit, can’t get a local permit. I’ve got a junkyard out back. It’s been a junkyard since the 1920s. Now there’s an endangered newt living in the water inside some old snow tyre. I’ve got a towing operation and a body shop. I’m doing pretty well. I don’t mind Obamacare. I can afford to give the guys who work for me health benefits. But every time some genius in the White House gets a bright idea, a load of paperwork the size of the old Boston phone book lands on my desk. I don’t have a legal department. I don’t have a HR department. It’s just me and my wife, and I’m a mechanic.”

“So how,” I asked, “does sending a lunatic to Washington fix this?”

He laughed. “It’s what they’ve got coming.”'

As a former Tea Party supporter, I can say that we took our complaints to the politicians but we never ever shut down the economy anywhere nor did we beat up on liberals at their rallies. Law breaking was not a part of our game and nobody died, despite dishonest efforts to show we were bad people. When extremists entered the game with Trump, the Tea Party disappeared.

But a funny thing happened in Arizona where a certain extreme-rightest sheriff set about rounding up Mexicans, arresting them and keeping them in tents in the cold overnight winds and exposed to the dry hot days in the desert - leaving them to fight off lethal animals, insects and real criminals. I believe he still lives in Fountain Hills. Trump pardoned him.

What's worse, it was done on purpose to create the ability to steal the election. In one stroke they destroyed Trump's economy and allowed "emergency" voting procedures that violated state constitutions again and again. Just coincidentally, all of those emergency procedures made it easier to commit fraud.

"wrong within normal parameters"

We knew through the Podesta wikileaks dump that the Clinton campaign had promoted Trump in the Republican primaries beginning no later than April, 2015. Even if one thought Trump abnormal, the choice was not between normal and abnormal, but between abnomal and the promoter of abnormal. We all knew that before Election Day.

Western PA had a hard month, but temperatures rose last night and it was above freezing at dawn. Lots of 50s and even a couple 60s in the next ten days. Winter's not done, but we have the luxury of ignoring it for a few days.

I thought Joe was going to give us a war today to unite us under his masterful leadership. Oh, that's right, his masterful diplomacy just saved the world from WWIII; wow did he humiliate Putin! This was the most impressive feat since when Superman reversed the rotation of the Earth to set time back a day and prevent the destruction of the human race, and just as real!

They honestly think we are that stupid, well, to be honest, some of us are. Still, they just flushed their credibility even further down the toilet in some kind of wag-the-dog event to save he-who-cannot-be-saved, and he who only keeps his job because his veep bids fair to be even worse.
