Or not. Creighton suspended its outstanding coach Greg McDermott. He had told his players, after a tough loss: “Guys, we got to stick together. We need both feet in. I need everybody to stay on the plantation. I can’t have anybody leave the plantation.”
Creighton plays in the Big East Conference, which also includes Providence College which we know is located in the "State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations."
