It's beautiful snow up here. Temperature 30°. I had a great walk through the neighborhood, which is in full "winter wonderland" form, snow sticking to all the branches. Yesterday, we had a nice cross-country ski run. It's been beautiful. No thoughts of leaving home for now, even with some below 0 weather coming in the next week. I am lying low, taking care not to get covid in this the last week before I get my vaccination. Once I've got my precious immunity... I'll just run wild.

AA you're looking very German in that photo. You have German eyes, downturned at the corners. Everyone on the German (father's) side of my family had/have eyes like that. I don't have them. I take after the Irish side of my family. Two distinct physiognomies in my family, Celtic and Teutonic.
Just got my second dose today. On the way back I was stopped at a light and looked over to my right to see an outdoor covered bar. Roof with fan, large bar under the roof, and all the sides of the building were wide open. I'm telling you, I wanted to run in and kiss the top of the bar.
But I didn't. However, we did book a flight to go see the grandkids in Washington state. Yeah...it's time. Need a kid fix. From there...who knows? Maybe even a restaurant. :)

I've already had Covid, but my hematologist is recommending I still get the vaccine. More stimulation of my weak immune system is better, I guess.

@OriginalMike: don't wait for the snowfall to end, chip away at it so you aren't trying to relocate heavy loads. Less dangerous to your health that way. Plus, it's nice to be outside exercising in the weather.

Cold weather heart attacks are most like related to having to heat to body temperature all the air you breathe in. That heating takes a lot of aerobic capacity. If you're working in addition, and your muscles aren't tired yet, you may be over the limit.

I hate the snow. Back in the 80s we lived 3 years in Omaha and 3 years in Fairbanks. Since we were poor we lived in base housing. We would fly 12 hour missions, not counting pre- or post mission ops/briefings. Base regs said we had to clear our sidewalks/driveways within a ridiculously short time frame after the snow stopped falling. I remember being exhausted after some of those missions but I still had to shovel snow before I could get some sleep. Omaha was worse than Fairbanks, they had more sleet with the snow.
I'll probably get my shot in August. My wife and I are discussing coming to the US to get it if they open the border before then. Canada is not covering itself in glory just now. They ordered a zillion doses but forgot to negotiate priority.

Haven't you heard? You will now need to be tested anally. They now require a swab of your squeek hole. Which is going to make drive up testing very entertaining. "Yes, sir.
