Throughout the past few days, you have likely seen inaccurate reporting on the content of our recently launched Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training program.

The video in question was not part of the Company’s curriculum but was accessible on a third-party platform used for the training. We took immediate action and removed any links from the Company recommended training playlist that could lead employees to that content. We do not support the idea of anyone being less of themselves.

If you're fancy you can take them out and put them into a bowl filled with ice water (supposedly makes them easier to peel later).

If you're not fancy (me) just drain the hot water and fill with cold water a couple of times.

It's pretty good, but the writers use the same silly trope that takes you right out of it.

I am all good with suspension of disbelief, but at a certain point you will lose me.

One of the characters is a hot Italian actress. I looked her up on IMDB.

She has a dance background and it very thin (100-110lbs?). She's listed at 5'4"

She is the only person out of all of the trained male assassins out to kill her who can shoot straight. The guys all have open shots and miss completely. One shot the gun out of her hand, which made me laugh.

In the scene I just saw the idiot male killer tries to shoot her but she throws a backpack at him which ruins his aim.

Then a hand to hand combat sequence ensues (he is 6' 200lbs) where she kicks his ass and kills him.

Is this all part of girl power?

It's otherwise a good concept for a show and I would normally recommend it, but this is bad writing.

Read it- and agree. Michael Shermer and the late James Randi and all of us who see snake oil salesmen for what they are are fighting a constant uphill battle- for there are always snake oil salesmen.

I have one small problem with organized skeptics- their extreme hostility towards Christianity. Yes there are frauds and fakers in Christianity- but overall, it's been a force for good in the world. Atheists for the most part have not been a force for good in the world- being responsible for the Russian gulags, the Killing Fields of Cambodia, the Chinese Cultural Revolution, etc. There are some good atheists, as there are some bad Christians, but in the grand scheme of things, Christianity has been a force for good in the world, atheism not.

One thing I find amusing that some skeptics and atheists have gotten around to realizing that they can only speak freely and be skeptics and atheists in a Christian society... others won't tolerate them... Must be hard for them to reconcile this.

One thing I was surprised about was that The Mentalist and Psych were produced and promoted by Hollywood. Both shows are extremely good at undermining the whole New Age movement, and show how easy it is to fool people. I highly recommend watching both shows.; ২৬/২/২১, ১:২৮ AM

As for Broadway, I would never in my life pay their ticket prices, and a lot of other people were not buying tickets before the virus. So, Broadway was a failing business model long before this. What's fun is to tour the various houses when they are dark---the Broadway, and off-Broadway architectural tours, which have probably been suspended for now. You know what happens to eggs that are left to boil, when the water boils off and nothing is done? They explode. All over Butch's kitchen--there were egg bits on the ceiling, the walls, the floors. It was quite impressive really, and he was lucky we heard the assplosion or the pan might have caught fire. I think there were bits still stuck about when he moved out years later.

Gospace makes a reasonable sounding argument but gets the cart before the donkey. (I'll leave aside his simplistic mash-up of atheism and skepticism, and acknowledge that he specifies "organized" critics . . . I'm a free-lancer, and haven't really kept up with organized anything.)

Christianity isn't responsible for the good things of the modern world, all those things are a -reaction- to rule by religion and religious authority, and rose from the proven inability of spiritual supremacists to provide for peace and human well-being.

Secularism, an attitude and practice, is what overcame the murderous pious bigotries of the period, say, 1450-1650 in Europe. So it always strikes me as ironic to hear defenders of the faith today argue as if all their spiritual ancestors were fighting for was the freedom of thought and belief we enjoy in America today.

It's only within a secular society that Gospace is free to practice his Christianity as he chooses. It's not at all hard to reconcile my understanding of how we got to now with the knowledge that religions will always rush in to take credit for good ideas.
