All of these new materials, the authenticity of which has never been disputed by Hunter Biden or the Biden campaign, raise important questions about whether the former Vice President and current front-running presidential candidate was aware of efforts by his son to peddle influence with the Vice President for profit, and also whether the Vice President ever took actions in his official capacity with the intention, at least in part, of benefitting his son's business associates.
But in the two weeks since the Post published its initial story, a union of the nation's most powerful entities, including its news media, have taken extraordinary steps to obscure and bury these questions rather than try to provide answers to them.... Facebook, through a long-time former Democratic Party operative, vowed to suppress the story pending its “fact-check,” one that has as of yet produced no public conclusions. And while Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey apologized for Twitter’s handling of the censorship and reversed the policy that led to the blocking of all links the story, the New York Post, the nation’s fourth-largest newspaper, continues to be locked out of its Twitter account, unable to post as the election approaches, for almost two weeks. ...
As usual for the Trump era, the theme that took center stage to accomplish this goal was an unsubstantiated claim about the Kremlin responsibility for the story. Numerous news outlets, including the Intercept, quickly cited a public letter signed by former CIA officials and other agents of the security state claiming that the documents have the “classic trademarks" of a “Russian disinformation” plot. But, as media outlets and even intelligence agencies are now slowly admitting, no evidence has ever been presented to corroborate this assertion....
Despite this complete lack of evidence, the Biden campaign adopted this phrase used by intelligence officials and media outlets as its mantra for why the materials should not be discussed and why they would not answer basic questions about them.... The few mainstream journalists who tried merely to discuss these materials have been vilified. For the crime of simply noting it on Twitter that first day, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman had her name trend all morning along with the derogatory nickname “MAGA Haberman.” CBS News’ Bo Erickson was widely attacked even by his some in the media simply for asking Biden what his response to the story was. And Biden himself refused to answer, accusing Erickson of spreading a "smear."...
We submitted nine questions to his campaign about these documents that the public has the absolute right to know, including: whether he claims any the emails or texts are fabricated (and, if so, which specific ones); whether he knows if Hunter did indeed drop off laptops at the Delaware repair store; whether Hunter ever asked him to meet with Burisma executives or whether he in fact did so; whether Biden ever knew about business proposals in Ukraine or China being pursued by his son and brother in which Biden was a proposed participant and, how Biden could justify expending so much energy as Vice President demanding that the Ukrainian General Prosecutor be fired, and why the replacement — Yuriy Lutsenko, someone who had no experience in law; was a crony of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko; and himself had a history of corruption allegations — was acceptable if Biden’s goal really was to fight corruption in Ukraine rather than benefit Burisma or control Ukrainian internal affairs for some other objective. Though the Biden campaign indicated that they would respond to the Intercept’s questions, they have not done so.......
The silence of the Bidens may not be dispositive on the question of the material’s authenticity, but when added to the mountain of other authentication evidence, it is quite convincing: at least equal to the authentication evidence in other reporting on similarly large archives. Second, the oft-repeated claim from news outlets and CIA operatives that the published emails and texts were “Russian disinformation” was, from the start, obviously baseless and reckless. No evidence — literally none — has been presented to suggest involvement by any Russians in the dissemination of these materials, let alone that it was part of some official plot by Moscow.... The ease with which news outlets that are supposed to be skeptical of evidence-free pronouncements by the intelligence community instead printed their assertions about "Russian disinformation" is alarming in the extreme....
Much more at the link.

"But Trump has a bank account in China! REEEEEEEEEEE!"
Shockingly, I bet Trump has a bank account in lots of countries. He has lots of businesses, and I would imagine that somewhere, sometime, he may have been paid in Chinese money.
But bribery by Chinese intelligence officials? Come on man!
Actually I'm kind of surprised that the Biden's have not just claimed it was a false laptop. I mean, what's the downside for them? Would the media report the certain claims and proof that they are lying? Of course not--the media would cheerfully take "the word of a Biden!" and say it's all false, even if Biden were proven to be lying through his teeth. The media is so in the tank that why wouldn't Biden do this? The FBI is in the tank for him too, so what's he got to lose?
Red pill...
seen on the internet.."all is proceeding as I have foreseen"
the derogatory nickname “MAGA Haberman
I don't personally think that "make America great again Haberman" is derogatory.
He says what we all know: the narrative the media created to protect Biden on the Burisma prosecutor firing is obvious bullshit.
If by censored he means declined to publish that’s a tell that the rest is likely a bunch of hyperbole too.
Damning, both to the Bidens père et fils and the ne'er-do-well mainstream media.
Nobody will report this except Fox News.
Absolutely amazing. Reading Greenwald over the last month or so you could sense his frustration. There are many things not to like about Greenwald but he clearly seems a man of principle for which I honor him.
and now this,
Why do we hear about this now?
I don't want a stinking Oct surprise. I want justice.
The democrats operate outside of the law and it must end.
FBI Investigating Hunter Biden for Money Laundering: Report
I wonder how many people voted for Biden and now they are screwed.
I now believe that the media/Dem collusion is a necessary step in order to get Biden elected, after which they will turn on Biden and and help oust him in favor of Kamala Harris: It's the most expedient way to get her in office. My question is why is Kamala Harris the media darling? Is it merely that she's a POC or just an Obama minion who will restore that ex-President's legacy?

We're seeing an entirely unprecidented coordinated effort to suppress story in an attempt to influence an election. I wouldn't have thought that this level of attempt at suppression would be likely to ever happen in the modern USA just a few years ago. I guess I'm still not cynical enough.
And for what? Because the Orange Man is Bad? He's so bad that these fools are willing to through out any pretense of journalistic integrity? Burn the last of all their credibility? Have they ever stopped and asked if it's really worth it? What did Trump do to them that they've reached such a low state?
Glenn, You can see whether Joe ever met with Burisma executives by reading Alexander Hamilton’s newspaper, The NY Post
https://nypost.com/2019/10/01/joe-and-hunter-biden-golfed-with-ukraine-gas-executive-in-2014/
Pics, and it did happen.
From Wikipedia, which is itself a politically biased, left-wing reference (when it comes to politics):
"Financial backing for The Intercept was provided by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar.[33][34] Omidyar told media critic Jay Rosen that the decision was fueled by his "rising concern about press freedoms in the United States and around the world". Greenwald, along with his colleagues Laura Poitras and Jeremy Scahill, initially were working on creating a platform online to support independent journalism, when they were approached by Omidyar who was hoping to establish his own media organization. That news organization, First Look Media, launched its first online publication, The Intercept, on February 10, 2014.[35] Greenwald initially served as editor, alongside Poitras and Scahill. The organization is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable entity.[36][37]"
So Glenn Greenwald is one of the three (or maybe it's four) founders of The Intercept.
People keep saying, "Don't focus on Hunter, focus on Joe's corruption." The reality is that the two are intertwined. Joe was enabled and encouraged Hunter's behavior because he benefitted from it, and Hunter's behavior in turn made him a huge liability to Joe. Does anyone really believe that the Chinese ambassador wouldn't be willing to tell a President Biden, "We have evidence that your son used drugs while in China, and we want him extradited to stand trial, but we're willing to make a compromise..."?
Thanks Ann for finding this.
Greenwald is a man of honor and integrity in an industry of sellouts.
I have always been a believer in competition as a solution to bias. But I can't explain why there aren't successful competitors to facebook, twitter, and WaPo/NYT that just deliver the stories these places ignore. I guess Fox reporting what CNN doesn't is a counterexample, and I guess Fox News is pretty successful financially. I've heard a suggestion that Trump in defeat will launch opposition news outlets.
If Biden and the Democrats win, your blog will likely one day be censored.
How about endorsing President Trump and voting for him? He stands for free speech.
He might be all that stands in the way of your weblog being censored.
Glenn Greenwald: that prolix, magnificent bastard. It is stirring to see such a rare display of intellectual integrity.
None of this is controversial, which makes The Intercept look pathetic.
As has been hinted at by several prominent journalists, controversies erupted within newsrooms across New York and Washington in the last week. Editors have been telling charges that any effort to determine whether or not the Biden laptop material is true, or to ask the Biden campaign to confirm or deny the story, will either not be allowed or put through heightened fact-checking procedures. - Matt Taibbi
Also Biden has been telling news organizations that anybody who looks into this will be frozen out of the a Biden administration.
Whose the authoritarian?
If a large portion of our electorate is specifically misinformed through the conspiracy of government agencies and a sympathetic press such that relevant information regarding the laws and legislators and that these laws and legislators work specifically to deny rights and freedoms to me can I say then that I am disenfranchised through the actions of these entities? Can I say that my vote is nullified by the vote of someone who was purposely misinformed and thus voted against what they might otherwise have voted for? So, though I have the ability to vote and am fully informed, my vote is made moot by the vote of another who was duped into voting opposite of me. Can I then say that I lack representation since the government works specficaly to deny me my voice through manipulation of the process?
Is there any issue more dangerous to the continuation of our republic than the active suppression of truth, aided and abetted by the most influential and powerful forces in the country? Do we not have an obligation to prevent that usurpation of our rights?
The nation has had it's journalistic embarrassments over the years, but we have never seen anything like this before. We have greatly multiplied the information and sources available to us, but unfortunately the humans distributing it and controlling it have not improved and in fact may have less principles than ever Thankfully we have lots of alternatives, but the most powerful have the least ethics, and even more surprisingly, the least shame. Never has so much important information been so widely repressed and even actively lied about. I know I sound like a broken record sometimes, but this is all coming from one side of the political spectrum. Prove me wrong. Americans on all sides should care deeply about that and exact a price from those so disrespectful of the truth, who imagine themselves capable and worthy of deciding what we want or need to know. Most distressing of all is that so many Americans simply don't want to know what they don't know.

They are going to continue doing “adversarial journalism” as long as they don’t step on anybody’s toes besides Trump, of course.
A tour de force essay from Greenwald- utterly devastating for the claims being proffered by the Bidens and their fellatrices in the mainstream media.
I'm beginning to wonder if the 'Streisand effect' isn't a ding-dang component of leftist DNA.
He's decidedly of the liberal bent, but he seems to value honesty and accountability from government, especially the intelligence community.
Good for him...
If the Democrats had 1/10 the evidence against Trump that is available against Biden, President Pence would be running for election right now.
Wow The Swamp’s tentacles reach all the way to South America Which I think is whereGreenwald lives.
"O'Sullivan's Law states that any organization or enterprise that is not expressly right wing will become left wing over time."
It appears O'Sullivan's law applies to both news organizations and the agencies of the federal government.
What's the over/under on the date of the start of hostilities?
Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together knows exactly whats going on here - a concerted effort to silence information detrimental to Biden. And of course we know what the news coverage would look like if it was Trump and not Biden.
The media has no shame.
Thank you, Ann, for posting this article. We have entered the fog of war and clarity is hard to find. Glenn Greenwald is concise and carefully factual.
90 minutes since you posted and still no comments up.

OK Last one:
Joe said today that, if you have children, "the example you set is passed on to your kids”. In other words, to see the example that Joe set, one should look at Hunter Biden's conduct. - Stephen McIntyre on Twitter
Of course Biden was for sale/rent/lease. The question is who in DC wasn't selling this country out?
And you are upset because of Trump's uncouth style? For the love of Christ, stop focusing on irrelevancies, go and deal with the actual structural rot and ignore the ugly unfashionable wallpaper, already!
Minnessota is in the bag for Biden, that’s why he’s campaigning there in the final days, because he has it locked up.
Tucker Carlson show results of a poll tonight that 51% of the public believes the Biden's e-mails are "Russian disinformation.". So the MSM has been successful in preventing the truth from being known by a majority of the population.
Our country is in a very dangerous situation.
More frightening than the Democrat-Communists, even more than the swamp is the former "press" now openly and actively shilling and suppressing news on behalf of the Democrat-Communists along with their amen brothers the social media.
If Biden and the Democrats win, your blog will likely one day be censored.
Her blog is already being censored and I’d bet she’s smart enough to know it.
When your posts are based on mainstream news articles, and the mainstream news isn’t covering certain stories, they are in effect removing those stories from Althouse’s blog.
"But I can't explain why there aren't successful competitors to facebook, twitter, and WaPo/NYT that just deliver the stories these places ignore."
None of these organizations were developed saying they intended to turn partisan.
Laptop contains a contract from the spy chief of China to pay Hunter one million dollars. Half goes to pop, remember. That’s a pretty normal markup Hunter is getting for doing the bird dog work for selling Joe Biden’s power.

It is an enduring puzzle to me why no serious competitor/successor to Fox News has emerged in the TV world. Fox News itself is becoming ever more similar to its' reliably lefty "competition," despite its overwhelming success as the only "conservative" alternative to the NBC/CBS/ABC/NPR/CNN/MSNBC and now even CSPAN liberal hive. It seems like there are enormous profits to be made, however one might feel about the politics. Same for Hollywood.
In virtually every other industry the major players stay on top by diversifying--giving the consumer as many flavors and colors and styles as they can sell. Only in the news/entertainment industry is ideological uniformity rigorously enforced.
I understand that the media people are liberal and like to promote what they believe in and suppress what they don't wan't to hear, or what they don't want others to hear. But there is money to be made. Are the money people really that blind? Obviously at least half of the American public will listen to and watch "conservative" news and programming. Why isn't anyone trying to sell it to them?*
And please don't tell me its because they are all so principled.
*Yes I know about OANN. I am talking about the big money, big networks.
And you are upset because of Trump's uncouth style? For the love of Christ, stop focusing on irrelevancies, go and deal with the actual structural rot and ignore the ugly unfashionable wallpaper, already!
There is plenty corruption around Trump. From the Foxconn boondoggle to the Kodak boondoggle. Forcing a sale of a major social media company to his friends at Oracle.
But this is just traditional boring old graft, it doesn't have the salaciousness of Russian prostitutes, so I guess we just ignore this stuff now?
Hunter’s home brew porn is now being leaked on the internet.
Our Media betters are working day and night to suppress, ignore, and delegitimize a story they fear could sink their preferred candidate knowing that come Jan. 20, 2021 they can settle down for a well earned four-year nap.
People keep saying “1984 wasn’t a ‘how-to’.” I don’t think that goes far enough, Kafka wasn’t a how-to!
Blogger Left Bank of the Charles said..."If by censored he means declined to publish that’s a tell that the rest is likely a bunch of hyperbole too."
Can somebody explain to me what Left Bank's point is?
It took the FBI months to get off its ass and investigate Hillary’s emails. When FBI finally subpoenaed Hillary’s emails, she stalled for months and only turned them over after her lawyer scrubbed them for a couple months. When Bridgegate story broke, the FBI had agents onsite the next Damn day.
You will never see a better example of Streisand's Law. Greenwald does a very creditable job of going through all the evidence and judging it, and the fools at the Intercept just guaranteed that every human being on the left will read the article.
Hunter Biden derangement syndrome, with most votes already cast.
Tonight NBC has a report out claiming Hunter’s laptop is Swiss disinformation.
Thank you for posting this, Professor. Your blog is an important public service. Thank you for being fearless in promoting free speech.

Oh, no. The Chi-Coms couldn't care less about any of that.
This suppression of the news to protect a democrat is not unprecedented. Remember when newspapers, with the except of the National Enquirer, refused to report on the John Edwards extramarital affair.
Holy Crap

During the summer of 1974, I was a truck driver for the afternoon newspaper in
Philly, the Evening Bulletin. It was during the Warergate Hearings. Newspapers back then published several editions and it was fascinating for me to go out on a run and deliver the early edition and then return to the loading dock and read the next edition whose headlines changed thruout the day as the hearings progressed. It was like today’s internet- if only I had been inspired back then to invent it.
As with Pravda, the key to understanding what really happens:
1) If accusations of something are leveled against an enemy of the state, it's what the state is actually doing.
2) If it is not reported on, it happened.
3) If it is reported on, it's a lie.
What I would like to see after Trump's reelected: a complete overhaul of the audience at White House press conferences.
1. Any organization, no matter how old and prestigious, that's been caught censoring or falsifying the news needs to be banned for the next four years, along with any that has taken money from China or other hostile powers. Offer a $10,000 reward for leaks of internal memos and it should be possible to prove the really gross and blatant cases, which will help the bans stand up in court.
2. What to do with all the empty chairs, besides making sure that Epoch Times has a front-row seat? Fill them up with small-town newspapers and bloggers/tweeters.
3. For the first: offer seats to any general-interest local newspaper with a circulation over some fairly low minimum, and have a lottery several months in advance to see which papers get seats in which weeks. (Secret Service will probably want to check reporters out in advance, too.) If 100 newspapers put in bids, reserve 3-4 chairs so they can each get a week or two per year. Maybe have a suite of free apartments near the White House and some government cafeteria vouchers so the reporters will just have to get to D.C. from Bozeman or Wichita or wherever. Maybe include student newspapers, left, right, or middle?
4. As for the bloggers, offer one seat each to a couple dozen intelligent bloggers (and tweeters?), left and right, who are not slaves to a single party. I would start with Greenwald, Taibbi, Mickey Kaus, Glenn Loury, Instapundit, Eugene Volokh, Althouse, Ace of Spades, Just One Minute, ChicagoBoyz, Victor Davis Hanson, Andrew Klavan, Scott Adams - there are lots more I'm forgetting. Maybe add some non-political ones, like Iowahawk. Many of these live too far from D.C. to use their seats often, but allow each one to lend his/her seat to anyone they like that can pass Secret Service screening. That would also mean they could swap seats with each other if they ever need two. If (e.g.) Ann and Meade felt like making a journalistic road trip to D.C., she could arrange to borrow Instapundit's seat for a week and lend him hers for a different week.
4. To make it even better, allow people in the audience to wear disguises, so anonymous commenters could ask questions without giving away their identities. (Obviously the seat-owner and the Secret Service would need to know real names, but no one else.) Maybe I have a sick mind, but I'd like to hear an amateur reporter in dark glasses and false beard say "Hello, I'm commenter 'Charlie Brown's Dildo' from Ace of Spades" or "I'm commenter 'Masturbatin' Pete' from Ace of Spades" or "I'm commenter 'Titus' from Althouse" (and everyone who knows who Titus is says "Uh oh").
Best thing about my plan: the questions would be infinitely better than any the idiots and creeps in the press ask now, and even the three commenters just named would actually raise the moral tone of the event. The seat-owner would of course be partly responsible for any embarrassments or disasters.
America does not need another Fox. It needs a network which holds the feet to the fire of the huge corporations and the ginormous Non-profit sector. Each group deserves to be mocked without mercy. You know what comedians used to do.
Wisconsin is also curious besides Minnesota. Rural voting continues to outperform 2016 in WI. Are there a ton of rural democrats in Wisconsin? Anywhere?
"Modeled Democrat" is also drastically underperforming as a percent of early voting. I don't know if the "models" are correct but I know in WI, "urbanity" is a very good proxy for party proportions.
Trump continues to be proven correct in so many ways.
The fake media IS a danger to the people.
I think the really good thing about the Hunter Biden story is that it may keep the Trump Boyz occupied and out of trouble during the Biden Transition. Better that they all study everything there is to know about every single Biden in history, and get graduate degrees in Bidenology, than to have them running around playing militia men.
Grifting for fun and profit for 47 years.
Re: boatbuilder:
Are the money people really that blind? Obviously at least half of the American public will listen to and watch "conservative" news and programming. Why isn't anyone trying to sell it to them?*
I think there's a mismatch in incentives. The industry's working level talent pool is full of fervent young woke people for whom the task of Volksaufklärung is more interesting and important than grubby journalism, and who will pitch a fit if they're asked to tone it down. See, e.g. the widely celebrated Deadspin walkout, prompted by reminders that they're a sports website (?) not a political activist group so maybe they should focus more on sports. See also the NYT staffers' tantrum that got a senior editor kicked out for daring to allow Senator Cotton's heretical opinions to be published in the Times -- not quite the same thing, but it illustrates the extent to which these institutions have become captive to their workforce. And woke workers mostly don't care about profits -- they don't have an ownership stake, and the possibility that they'll crash their employer into the ground and all lose their jobs doesn't seem to be of much concern to them.
On top of them, you have opportunists and grifters for whom the Calvinball rules of wokeness are just a convenient tool to force out potential rivals who aren't as comfortable feigning outrage at transgression of a norm they just invented last week. These people probably don't care if the pie gets smaller so long as their share gets bigger.
And lastly, the audience for a lot of this programming was always somewhat liberal. Previously (for print) it was somewhat regional, but some papers have successfully expanded their subscriber base nationally by cannibalising readers from smaller local papers. Easier to do that by just scooping up all the liberal readers across the country than to rebuild the institutional culture to be pluralistic and tolerant of alternative points of view. In part because the culture of the existing staff is now so intolerant (see above).

And, uh, how did that work out with the cockamamie Russian collusion story? It didn't keep the Leftist whackos distracted and occupied at all. The Antifa bully boys were out in force immediately, smashing windows, burning cars, and engaging in the usual intimidation tactics in downtown DC and elsewhere. That one guy tried to assassinate the entire Republican congressional leadership at a ball game.
You won't see that from Trump supporters, partly because the fraction of Trump supporters who are violent maniacs like that is lower, but also because the police in urban areas aren't going to be directed to exercise restraint in suppressing them, the way they've been ordered to accommodate looting and violence by Antifa and BLM and their confreres. Also, I would be surprised (and disappointed) if Trump or leading Republicans sponsored a bail fund to bail out people arrested for vandalism or violence, the way Biden and Harris have done.

I just watched the Rogan interview with Greenwald. They both have this thing where they clearly see the problem, but don't understand where it comes from. They don't see how who and what they vote for matters, or they get it completely backwards, and think that the left is the compassionate, tolerant side when it just never been so. They still think it's kust the wrong people doing it, but it's the ideology that always goes to the same ugly place. The classical liberal they want is much closer to the modern conservative.
@chuck
It might surprise you to learn that some people not in love with Trump (he's an ass clown in my estimation) also think that Biden's crackhead son getting 6 and 7 figures for access to daddy is a big fucking deal. Some of us also think attempts to suppress that story is also a big fucking deal.
Some of us have watched Orange the clown be used as an excuse to destroy institutions it took 200+ years to build. Some of us understand that those institutions are not coming back the minute Trump goes back to chasing east european super models. Burning the house down to get the burglar is a really stupid thing to do.
I have sympathy for Hunter Biden. I mean how fucked up would you be if your Father and older brother used you for their bagman your whole life. That and knowing your father's life story was a continuous made up fable.

Lilly Tomlin: "I TRY to be cynical, but I can't keep up."
Offer a $10,000 reward for leaks of internal memos and it should be possible to prove the really gross and blatant cases, which will help the bans stand up in court.
@Dr. Weevil, try $100,000. Inflation.
Selling Donald Trump made Glenn Greenwald lots of money. And he didn't mind bending the truth to get paid more. When Trump began his dealings with the new Ukraine president by demanding help from Ukrainians to do in Joe Biden, Greenwald questioned Biden's actions while VP to replace a dishonest Chief Prosecutor with Yurily Lutsenko because Lutsenko had no experience as a general prosecutor.
On the other hand, Glenn never said boo about the fact that Bill Barr never had trial experience and worse, he ignored Barr's predecessor, Matthew Whitaker, whose only claim to fame was selling toilets designed for overendowed males. Whitaker quickly became known as "Big Dick Toilet Salesman."
We are living under a Pravda media. This proves it. How scary is it, when you can't trust the media to tell you the real news because they filter it?? And people wonder why Trump tweets?? It's the only way HIS truth comes out. This is the end of American Media.

"Greenwald questioned Biden's actions...”
Don’t worry gadfly, the press is now 90% toady, and I am sure the mop up operation to get the last few who question the Democrat line will continue after the election. Eventually Matt Taibbi and Glenn Greenwald and other honest journalists will be starved for audience by Big Tech algorithms until they are flipping hamburgers and washing dishes, Then your ears will be safe from hearing anything you would rather not hear. It will be just like Tom Friedman’s utopia, Communist China.
Biden has already warned that anybody who looks into the laptop will be frozen out of any Biden administration, so you will get the authoritarian leader you so crave.
nbcnews.com just printed a story full of easily provable lies, that’s our future.
It’s shocking how corrupt the media has been during this particular time. There’s a gravy train that needs upending, big time.
"If Biden and the Democrats win, your blog will likely one day be censored."
She's already been demonetized! I'm surprised this isn't an even bigger issue for our hostess.
Joe Biden's life story is a lie from beginning to end. His well-off parents were brought down by his father's drinking. The old man was a successful sales rep who at one time played polo, but drink got the better of him. It is an old story. Joe Biden's family was not blue-collar. He is the offspring of failed white-collar. He is the child of an alcoholic with the affinity for half-truths and lies that got him through the day.
Joe has been on the public stage so long that people have forgotten the reality of his origins. The "Scranton Joe" pose is ridiculous.
When was the last time we had two teetotallers running for president?
"I am seeing that he is visiting StPaul - not Minneapolis??!!"
Too much destruction on display in Minneapolis.
They must have rejected it because of the spelling mistake.
One of Hunter’s former business partners, Tony Bubolinski, has stepped forward on the record to confirm the authenticity of many of the emails and to insist that Hunter along with Joe Biden's brother Jim were planning on including the former Vice President in at least one deal in China.
What with the covid, bubonic plague is on everybody's mind nowadays.
Want a good drinking game? Take a swig every time your TV says "Bobulinski." If your set's on FNC you could end up wasted, but if it's on another channel you could be on the path to sobriety.
"All of these new materials, the authenticity of which has never been disputed by Hunter Biden or the Biden campaign, raise important questions about whether the former Vice President and current front-running presidential candidate was aware of efforts by his son to peddle influence with the Vice President for profit, and also whether the Vice President ever took actions in his official capacity with the intention, at least in part, of benefitting his son's business associates. "
No Glenn, it doesn't raise questions, it answers questions. And you forgot one. Did Joe Biden personally profit from selling influence. The answer is yes, yes he did.
gadfly said "Selling Donald Trump made Glenn Greenwald lots of money."
So completely false - it's a lie. Why are you a liar, Gadfly?
Oh right - you love yourself some Clinton-Biden_Pelosi family international grift.
Greenwald is no Trump fan.
He is, however, one of the last honest lefties.
You gadfly - deal in bullshit and lies.
gadfly not only drinks the leftwing koolaid, he bathes in it each night.
Too much destruction on display in Minneapolis.
There's plenty in St. Paul, as well.
Attorney general and chief prosecutor are different positions. I don't believe the federal or state attorneys general actually argue cases in court. Barr did have experience in the Justice Department going back to Bush I and Bush II. Whitaker, who was only Acting AG for 3 1/4 months, likewise was a US attorney under Bush II. I'm not in the habit of defending the Washington crowd, but one would need more context concerning the usual experience of attorneys general before condemning Barr.
Greenwald's already a target for his Lava Jato work. They don't fool around in Brazil.

I'm going to make a wild guess here: they don't go into those claims, and provide proof for why they're "dubious".
Which is because for the MSM "anything that might help Trump, or hurt Biden" is by definition "dubious"
tim in vermont: "Chuck and gadfly are all in for court packing now, whodathunkit?"
It is certainly a good thing that LLR-lefty Chuck and his mini-me gadfly aren't even pretending to be anything other than rabid far left lunatics.
Transparency is a good thing.
If the Democrats had 1/10 the evidence against Trump that is available against Biden, President Pence would be running for election right now.
Hell, they impeached Trump for merely suggesting someone take a look at what we can now clearly see.
