Protesters gathered outside the emergency room at the hospital where the injured deputies were being treated. “To the protesters blocking the entrance & exit of the HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM yelling “We hope they die” referring to 2 LA Sheriff’s ambushed today in #Compton: DO NOT BLOCK EMERGENCY ENTRIES & EXITS TO THE HOSPITAL,” the sheriff’s department tweeted. “People’s lives are at stake when ambulances can’t get through.”
A radio reporter who was near the protest scene was taken into custody, KABC-TV reported. The sheriff’s department later tweeted that the reporter interfered with the arrest of a male protester....

To be clear, my comment was not intended as a judgement, rather an observation. A quick google search on California's demographics reveals this:
"39% of state residents are Latino, 37% are white, 15% are Asian American, 6% are African American, 3% are multiracial, and fewer than 1% are American Indian or Pacific Islander, according to the 2018 American Community Survey. Latinos surpassed whites as the state’s single largest ethnic group in 2014."
So- Latinos in CA slightly outnumber whites and greatly outnumber blacks 6 to 1. There is most certainly no measurable guilt over US slavery felt by Latinos and the "You owe us" whine heard from regrettably too many blacks falls on deaf ears with them.
Point being- if blacks are really feeling put upon by whites, they ain't seen nothin' yet.
Overdose? Rape? Larceny? Fraud? Some, Select Black Lives Matter
Diversity breeds adversity is a progressive condition.
That said, Blue Lives Matter. #BabyLivesMatter
