Great video. Although, if they were trying to slip in an argument for allowing millions of people to just come in illegally, that argument was not made. But it's a nice story about one good man.

Running is something I miss every day- I fully understand his addiction to it. It is one of the most common dreams I have these days- being out on the running path for a 6-12 mile run on a cool dry day.
Considering how many Mexicans and Mexican-Americans live here, the paucity of Mexican-origin public figures is quite interesting. Who are the big Mexican celebrities? George Lopez? The pockmarked guy from the Machete movies? There aren't a lot.
This video wants me to get back to running, especially since I have the same shirt Memo is wearing (at least I think he's wearing the Boston Marathon 2013 shirt. Yeah, the one where to a-holes blew up pressure cooker bombs.) But he's right. Just run and don't give up. Somehow I have to get back to this.
He's a decent guy. I'm glad he has a useful life and that his journey has found a safe harbor.....What are the chances that the NYT would feature an article on an illegal immigrant who was not worthy or useful. Such immigrants exist.

Certainly not a lot in the pro-freedom camp, sort of surprising given how screwed up a country Mexico seems to be. Mexican-Americans seem like other "liberal"-favored victim groups (Blacks, Jews, Gays, Women) who have been the victims of statism, yet always fall in lockstep to support the more statist candidate in any election. A friend of mine used to teach ESL to Cuban immigrants in NYC, and he said that "liberals" hated the Cubans because after their experience with Castro, they tended to anti-socialist.
He runs fast, therefore illegal immigration is OK?
Or is the argument that America is such a great country, even illegals can run faster as they age than they did when they were young in miserable backward Mexico?
But sorry Memo: once you have intensified your training to serious competition prep, you will get slower with age.
Why so Pro-Choice? Legal immigration to mitigate the progress of legal corruption and dysfunction. Emigration reform to mitigate the progress of immigration reform and collateral damage at both ends of the bridge and throughout. For example, Turkey addressing illegal immigration at their southern border. Mexico, too. El Salvador rejecting shared responsibility, and accepting personal responsibility for her citizens. Libya as well, before, ostensibly, social justice progress rendered it a shithole. Finally, immigration should not exceed the rate of assimilation and integration before planned parenthood.
I love Memo and the video. I hope one day we can reform our immigration laws so that it is easier for people like Memo to come to our country legally ...

Sounds like a Super Bowl ad. What was the joke?

Illegal immigration is exactly the same as immigration because you are not allowed to use the word “illegal.”
It’s all so simple!

I mustn't've got the Memo.
Marie Kondo is an illegal immigrant?

"he said that "liberals" hated the Cubans because after their experience with Castro, they tended to anti-socialist.”
Which is why Obama started sending them back to Cuba.
I'm inspired to not go to the gym - thanks, Memo!
Which reminds me, why does Mexico do so poorly in the Olympics?
Because all the Mexicans who can run, jump and swim are in the US.
