"Disturbingly long."

It's "disturbingly long" to Elon Musk.

Is it not disturbingly long to us ordinary human beings? And yet we submit to enclosure in tubes hurled far up into the air. Is the buried tube more disturbing?

It's clever to call the company The Boring Company, and not because puns are so damned wonderful but because boredom is the opposite of terror.

Probably wouldn't be boring in a California earth quake.

i too thought 'disturbingly' was a stupid choice of words; particularly for
A 'subway' tunnel. How many miles of subway tunnel are in NYC?
B 'subway' tunnel in an earthquake zone; did you REALLY want to inspire fear and loathing?

Musk is disturbing. And boring.

It's probably disturbing for him to travel such a distance without a golf cart. Then again, it might be he was upset because they wouldn't allow his chauffeur to take him in the limousine.

Wasn't there a Bond movie about this? Musk is a lot like a Bond villain.

Maybe The Boring Company could neutralize terrorism.

For the la subway it’s been very slow historically on construction time. Yes, we have a subway as part of our light rail system. Made up of several different non compatible car types using different voltages.

Amazing how fast this was dug.

Gold, green, blue, and red (subway) lines are all different.

There's a very very long subterranean hallway at the Central Wisconsin Center on the north side of Madison. Very spooky at night. It's so long that there are bikes there to speed the transit.

That's what she said.

It's a very long walk underground. Probably not disturbingly long for a train ride.

Just checked the comments to see how long it took for what Rob said to appear.

There's a 1972 Gene Roddenberry movie called, Genesis II. It takes place in the future and there have a system of underground travel tunnels around the planet called the "Sub Shuttle."
