I like the contrast of the black and the gray colors on the cat. Black and white would be making too melodramatic a statement. Still, given the season, I would have preferred white and brown. I just hope the PETA activists don't make a big deal out of the fur coat.

Humans or cats? I don't there are any cats in Antarctica, unless some of the scientists brought them, so I think we humans still hold the crown.
Until cats develop a rocketry program, humans still win.

Cats and dogs are everywhere in Istanbul and in a nice way. One thing the city does very well is having vaccinated animals that are everywhere calmly living among the many neighborhoods. Streets are clean too. Credit where credit is due.
In his later years, our family cat would sit in the middle of the room and wash his butt whenever we had a guest or three. We assumed he wanted them to feel welcome.
He also barfed at the feet of my sister's boyfriend, but behind the coffee table so no one else noticed.
That cat is either
1) psychotic (and, yes, there are psychotic cats)**
or
2) the catwalk is in her "territory", since she acts like she clearly owns & is familiar with where she's walking. No "sane" cat behaves that relaxed in unfamiliar territory surrounded by unfamiliar humans.
** One of the neighbors had a psychotic cat that had "territory issues". It would not only walk into unfamiliar houses or open car doors, it would then proceed to find a bed in the new house, & crash out for the rest of the evening.
