I suppose that decor was considered somewhat stylish (in a fairly cheap way) back in the mid-sixties, but it seems like the last sort of thing that would appeal to Lady Bird Johnson. Go figure.
Not a fan of couch pillows. As I sit down, I give them a toss. I think their only purpose is for taking a nap.

I don't know what I clicked on earlier, but I just got an ad for pontoon lifts (whatever they are) and another for an online program to become an auctioneer. Heh.

I used to slow down for turbulence to soften it out but I think the stall speed is so close to cruise speed at great heights that that's not an option.
Her desk chair has casters on the feet. The visitor chair does not.
The TV is a color Sony Trinitron.
She was the power behind LBJ.The office was a stage for doing business.
Thinking about the office chairs: That type is impossible to slide without casters. When you sat in her visitor chair, you stayed put. Intimidating as hell.

When you run out of space on your desk, you continue on the floor. I did this occasionally when I practiced law. Lots of people do this.
