To them that is the ONLY way to see the issue and are utterly and completely unable to even imagine that other people can possibly have a different and legitimate point of view.

No amount of rational discussion will ever open their eyes to the fact that not everyone thinks the way that they do. No amount of evidence presented can persuade them that other people even exist. This is why they are so shocked, shocked, shocked that Trump won the election. "How can this BE!!!! Why isn't everyone seeing what I see. Why can't the deplorables be smart like ME!!!!"
