"The New York Post Has Come Up With Their Greatest Troll Yet."

Says Gabriella Paiella (at New York Magazine).

Here's the hilarious cover of the Post.

Paiella writes:
Let’s review who loses in this article: First, Dan Rochkind — the man who they used for the lede image — who says he’s sworn off dating models even though … well, you can judge the photo for yourself. Then, Rochkind’s fiancée, who, for some reason, agreed to be in an article about a man who’s decided to date less attractive women than he used to. There’s also this guy, who shows up shirtless and playing the violin for some reason. Hot people in general lose because of unfair stereoty- … wait no, haha, scratch that.

But most of all, we lose — while, as always, the Post wins.

It must be a slow news day.

The dumb part about this is, the guy chose to date bikini models. Then he complains that bikini models aren't rocket scientists.

What did he expect? There are lots of hot women out there who don't choose to become bikini models. If you're looking for a woman who reads and is up on political events and who can hold interesting conversations, maybe don't look for hot actresses or bikini models.

Not because they are hot. But because they are actresses and bikini models.

I saw that headline somewhere this morning and my first thought was that was an easy resolution to make. So he was able to date hot women? Must have a lot of money.

The Onion needs to respond with "Why I don't homely millionaires". With a hot bikini model in the picture.

Anyone who says looks don't matter in dating and romance is stupid or trying to assuage the worries of a young, self-conscious woman or girl. That being said anyone who doesn't consider the other characteristics of a person is stupid and deserves whatever disappointment or misery they get.

My dog doesn't hump ugly dogs. But she's a spayed female, so maybe drawing conclusions would be premature.

Superficiality runs deeper in women.

I stopped dating hot women forty-two years three months and two weeks ago. I met this hot scientist in front of her folks, my folks, a minister, and a church full of well-wishers. Haven't regretted a day and I think she's still beautiful.

I do believe that there are more female rocket scientists with bikini bods than bikini models with serious brain power, but bear in mind that many bright, single women find it advantageous to disguise their smarts. Bright, gorgeous women do tend to be picky about whom they date. Right, Meade???

Looking forward to letters to editor from Jared, Eric and Donald.

The problem with dating hot girls, is that they have more fingerprints on them, than the front door handle of the local McDonald's.

Buried in the article is that the eligible fellow in the headline was snagged by a professional Jewish matchmaker who set him up with her own daughter.
This is of course right out of "Fiddler on the Roof". She saw him as Lazar Wolf no doubt.
Modern this isn't, this is purely medieval.
Not dishonorable.
Its interesting how things tend to settle into ancient patterns.
Those who deliberately evade the well-worn grooves of human institutions tend to do very badly.

Alas, future rocket scientist, we hardly knew ye.

At this point (age), it hardly matters.

If any beautiful women are crying about this, I have a shoulder that's available.

I won't either. Of course I'm married and 73 years old.

He's the humble type, able to find happiness with a merely beautiful woman. He he. That is some masterful trolling. I tip my virtual hat.

Sounds like a self fulfilling prophesy, or perhaps just a personal decision (not his own).

He is pretty hot and I don't like white guys. I like that he is muscular, that's hot.

There is this black guy at the gym and we have been checking each other out for a few weeks. I am kind of into him. He looks like he is Cambridge born. But today much to my shock and excitement I heard him talk to a friend....in Arabic.

I suspect there would be guilt involved which really gets me going.

Now I really want him.

BTW, I'm taking that hot scientist out tonight. Does it count as a date if your date is someone you married four plus decades ago?
