Traces of cruel neutrality at the Althouse blog.

I wanted to show you this exceedingly creepy anti-Cruz ad...

So let me balance it with a Cruz campaign ad...

Who is behind the anti-Cruz advertisement? Is this a Trump advocacy group or a Hillary group?

Trump's attacks on Walker were really dumb. Losing Wisconsin will probably prevent him from reaching the 1237 magic number. It looks like Walker will get the last laugh.

In Commedia dell'arte, an old Italian form of comedy based on stereotypes, a long nose equaled a long schlong. As soon as a male character stepped on stage with his long proboscis the audience began laughing.

Cruz may well indeed be Long Dong Silver as the rumors of his affairs suggest, but he seems way more like the guy who showered alone and kept a towel wrapped safely around him en route to and fro said shower.

In short, I'm not a Cruz fan, long nose or not.

Maybe that Stand With Governor Walker guy can do a Cruz song.

"He'll challenge the Status Quo, just like we've done in Wisconsin"

I notice that the part about Growing Jobs doesn't also include just like we've done in Wisconsin

Time to dance, Meade!

The anti-Cruz ad from who-knows brought to mind sausage casing growing around Cruz's neck.

OMG, an ugly mug made even more ugly..I don't know how or where he could find multiple women to screw him.

The Trump collapse has been very hard on me. I saw him as having one trait and one alone which I was willing to get behind despite his obvious flaws: courage. He seemed almost a freak of nature in his ability to take incoming from the PC hordes. He never flinched and in the process he exposed these demons for the pathetic weaklings they are.

But now that one trait that I admired is vaporizing. I saw beads of sweat on his upper lip during his interview with Anderson Cooper. He backtracked on his abortion statement. He has gone dark, almost, in the final days of the Wisconsin contest. Tweets are way down.

The demonic PC hordes have changed our culture and have put Europe on suicide watch. Trump seemed to be a last stand against them but, alas, he is failing.

Cruz has the weirdest jaw I've ever seen.

I'm not going to watch the ad. The load screen is creepy.

What if someone has realized that Cruz's positions -- no matter how excellent -- can be undercut by repulsion? First there was the lip booger during the debate, then the sex scandal which no one believed because "who would sleep with him", and now this. When I see Cruz I want to draw back. His creepiness is unintentional. However, what if a focused campaign is working to emphasize our revulsion and bring him down? Genius.

I guess those sort of ads are around because they work.

And that state of affairs is yet more evidence in support of my low-grade misanthropy.

Most political campaigns are nothing more than a race to the bottom. This one just got there first.

Well if we go by the "Trump Standard", it does not matter, it is on him. That is what he said when a Cruz PAC did the ad with his wife, he blamed Cruz and attacked his wife in turn...

So Cruz is a Dero?

The pages of the science fiction pulp magazine Amazing Stories promoted one such idea from 1945 to 1949 as "the Shaver Mystery". The magazine's editor, Ray Palmer, ran a series of stories by Richard Sharpe Shaver supposedly claimed as factual, though presented in the context of fiction. Shaver claimed that a superior pre-historic race had built a honeycomb of caves in the Earth, and that their degenerate descendants, known as "Dero", live there still, using the fantastic machines abandoned by the ancient races to torment those of us living on the surface.

The Trump collapse has been very hard on me.

Has it actually happened? Or has it only been reported to have happened?

The nose ad doesn't convince me of anything, and the longer you watch, the oogier it gets.

It's like those papier-mâché heads the left always marches with - they must really like making them, but they look seriously idiotic. The ad makes me want to go to my Safe Space. Then, I realize I'm already here. I live in Texas.

I think Walker's ad is going to help Cruz.

Bushman of the Kohlrabi বলেছেন...

There won't be a collapse. Too many have too much invested in him. It will be more of a gradual decline. But I do think he has pretty much reached his ceiling.

Darrell বলেছেন...

The only thing Cruz has done recently is win Utah. Do a little research and you'll see stories of fraud, up and down the line--from Soros' pal running the internet counts to people being handed 50 ballots. The Mormon white horse is covered in shit.

Birkel বলেছেন...

Cruz had a breath mint on his lip. I assume anybody who thinks it was a booger also believes President Bush served plastic turkey.

The delusions of Trump supporters are fascinating.

নামহীন বলেছেন...

Who ever would've thought that Wisconsin would mortally wound the giant? Good job WOW counties and right wing radio talkers.

PB বলেছেন...

Walker's got to fix his imbalanced hair.

"Walker's got to fix his imbalanced hair."

It's not his hair, its his head.

Howard বলেছেন...

The Walker ad was more creepy because it featured Ted's peter puffer voice at the end.

traditionalguy বলেছেন...

The subliminal weird part is seeing Cruz with a long growing appendage matched with a near total feminine persona.

That will be a hard one to forget.

Quit trolling the pro-Trump voters. None of them believe you are sincere.

Not creepy, juvenile

The anti-Cruz ad says "Only Kasich can beat Hillary" in a chyron while it's talking about Cruz' claim that he can beat Hillary. (Cruz' claim, in fact, is supported by a March 23 national general election poll done by Fox News, in which Cruz beats Hillary by 47/44 (+3% margin).

The label at the end says the anti-Cruz ad was run by New Day Independent Media Committee, whose headquarters are in Columbus, Ohio, which is also where Kasich HQ is located. In this election cycle, this PAC has spent $38,191 to oppose Rubio, but $3,115,156 to support Kasich. This ad appears to be part of a quarter-million dollar media purchase made on March 24th.

Kasich may claim he isn't running a negative campaign, but this pro-Kasich Super PAC certainly has gone negative.

NV was worse. And brutally pro-Trump.

And anybody claiming Kasich can win is delusional. Nobody views him as a serious candidate so he can fill the role of "Not Hillary and not a Republican". He has won a single state.
