I am starting to get worried. I'm going to be taking a gig at a school where the students, faculty and housekeeping are such precious snowflakes they can't dispose of a cockroach?
Maybe I need to rethink this whole thing.
OTOH, I will be in an engineering faculty. An engineer would solve the problem by grinding the cockroach to molecules beneath their shoe. Nothing left but a stain, problem solved.
Early in my legal career I was representing a DC landlord who was seeking a rent increase under the rent control law. One of the tenants showed up at the hearing with one of those big glass-front cases that you use to display you butterfly collection -- except in her case it displayed the cockroaches and other insects that she had (allegedly) collected around her apartment and the common areas of the apartment building. Each specimen had a little label giving the latin name for the specific species of roach, as well as where and when it was collected.

This is why I love humanity....
Brilliant!
Rosie: Safe space my ass!
Funny, until the shop steward realizes people are making fun of a union janitor.
Class project?
The shrine should have read "In these halls pass the slackest people on Earth".
Blatant rip off of the Toronto raccoon!
"Insect lives matter," is it?
Racists.
(What's the tag for "Even I'm not sure whether I'm being snarky."?)
Blattodea lives matter.

I declined to cross-examine.
Somebody should put an alligator clip on it.
