Thank you, and I wholeheartedly agree! I believe he also has the most military and national security experience of anyone running. Top it off with he is a decent, honorable, person, and I do not see why he didn't get more traction. (I acknowledge lots of people despise him, just not totally sure why. Sure there's the amnesty thing, but c'mon, realistically, there's going to be some form of amnesty even if Trump wins.)

Oh well, I hope for our country's sake--regardless of who wins--he doesn't retire and sticks around despite the ugliness that's been tossed at him in this process.; 12/21/15, 5:40 PM

I don't know what effect low polling candidates like Graham dropping out will have--it's not like a big chunk of supporters will be up for grabs. But maybe now we'll see an end to the "undercard" debates and narrow the field a bit more.; 12/22/15, 6:37 AM

Ego boost. Usually paid for with other people's money, but gives you a chance to speak to more crowds, go on TV more, talk about the issues you care most about. Very few of these candidates truly think they have a shot at winning.; 12/22/15, 6:39 AM
David said...: Of course I can't know all the other Senators but we have an unusual pair here in South Carolina with Graham and Tim Scott. Graham is often bashed as a "unreliable" conservative but he's a decent man who works hard and seems a lot more principled than most politicians. As a black conservative, Scott elicits the usual craziness from the left but he has won strong victories in every election. His race has been an issue only for his opponents and detractors.

The country could do a lot worse than Lindsay Graham as president. Indeed we have, and we will again. Probably next election.; 12/22/15, 7:13 AM
